Chapter 6

(Continuing Madison Pov)

I turned to see who had cleared their throat. Her face was lit up in anger. I could tell she was not happy about the kiss shared between Liam and I. Her red lips tight in a line. Her curled hair was up in a bun and she completed her look with her track pants. By the way she was dresses it was obvious she had gone to the gym.

"Mom, your home." I said breathlessly.

"Yes I am, who's your friend ?" She looked over to Liam and gave him an angry look.

"This is Liam my ummm..." I struggled to find the right word. I really don't know where Liam and I stand at this point.

"I'm her boyfriend. Its nice to meet you Mrs.Torres." Liam steps in. His british accent thick as the words left his mouth. My eyes are wide as I heard him present himself as my boyfriend yet again.

He nicely extended his hand to greet my mother, but she ignored his gesture.

"Madison tell your 'friend' that he has to go, its getting a bit late." She walked away, angrily.

"I'm sorry." I said a bit embarrased. "My mother isn't very fond of people in our home."

"No problem." He leans down and gives me another but gentle kiss.

"You should really go." I said inbetween our kiss. We said our goodbyes but he kept on kissing me. When he finally left- after having to promise that I will call him when ever I have that chance-my mother was right behind me ready to talk.

"What do you want mother?" I ask harshly but in an irritated tone. I hate the way she acted towards Liam. He was very kind to her and she completely dismissed his kindness towards her.

"Madison how long have you two been dating? I don't even now him!" she yelled.

"Just leave me alone." I whine walking away from her.

My mother takes a hold of my upper arm and stops me from taking another step. "We are not done talking young lady. Now stop acting like a child and answer my question."

I hate that she just called me a child. I am not a child! "Mom please stop calling me a child. You know I don't like you calling me that."

"I'm sorry Madison it's just that seeing you with that 'boy' us not a great way to be welcomed home." she confessed.

"I accept your apology. And as for your question we just recently started dating."

"Madison I don't think you should be with him. A boy like that will always break your heart."

I face her and see the worry in her eyes. "I know mother but it's a risk I am willing to take. Of course I would hope that he wouldn't hurt me but I'm not naïve mother."

"I know your not my sweet girl but you will regret it. Please just end it before he can hurt you." she begs.

"Mom I have always done what has been expected of me but not anymore."

She finally let go of me and I run to my room not wanting to hear anymore of her nonsense. She just doesn't understand anything, but at least there is one person and I am very glad to be his girlfriend.

Turning on the T.V in my room after getting dresses in my gray pj's, I skim through the channels not finding anything good to watch. Until suddenly I stop on a channel that caught my attention.

"This just in Liam Payne from the world famous boy band One Direction has found himself a new girl." Giuliana Rancic commented "Could she be 'the one'?"

Is Giuliana really gonna talk about me? "Liam Payne was caught in a heated moment with a girl named Madison Torres early this morning." Soon pictures of Liam and I showed up on the T.V. "Fans were baffled by the news since he had recently spilt from his long term girlfriend Danielle Peazer. Could this be the cause of a new war?"

Oh crap!

Liam's Point Of View:

Liam, its me Danielle. I want to see you, I really miss you. Call me babe?

I cannot believe Danielle sent me this message. I surely can't tell Madison about this she might get mad or something. Madison and I have been together for about a month now. And let me tell you it's been the best month of my life.

I think I'm falling deeply in love with her.

"Liam?" Madison called as we took a seat next to eachother in her livingroom couch. Its been a week since I got the text from Danielle and I still haven't replied to it.

"Yeah?"

"I want you to be completly honest with me." She glared at me.

"I am honest with you. I tell you everything." Then I remembered the text Danielle sent me that I have not told her about.

"I know you are honest with me, but I feel like you're hiding something from me." She faced the floor while playing with her hands.

I sigh in defeat. I can't keep this from her."You're right, Madison I have to tell you something." She looked up at me. I just hope she doesn't get mad at me for hiding this from her.

"About a week ago Danielle left me a message on my phone. I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to get mad." I confess.

"Danielle?" she asked me.

I nodded. Madison was silent for a while. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything to her. Yet.

"I shouldn't have told you."

"No, I'm glad you did tell me." She gave me a smile."But I do wish you could have told me sooner."

"That's the only thing I haven't told you. I promise."

"I believe you." She looked down at her hands again. "Liam promise me that there's nothing between you and Danielle." She still didn't make eye contact.

I put my hand under her chin tilting it so her eyes would meet mine. "There's nothing going on between me and Danielle love, I promise."

I leaned into her and began to kiss her. I placed my hand right above her cheek to keep her there.

When she pulled away she rested her head on my chest and whispered. "I love you."
