John
I'm not sure how much time had passed all I do know is that it seemed to drag on. So far they had tried every trick in the book to get me to come clean about Jimmy but I wasn't gonna break, not again I couldn't betray them one more time. "Listen, John the task is simple where are te Blooms it's as easy as that. I mean who are you really trying o protect, Johnny? Them or you? I mean we tried waterboarding you and that seemed to work to am extent but I'm beginning to find you're a hard egg to crack aren't you? Well we have ways of breaking eggs... Really painful ways." That's when I'm hit across the face with a solid metal object of some kind I don't know what it was but I do know it hurt so much it made me see white. "Now where is Lindsey?" I cough spitting up se blood, "I'll never tell. You're gonna have to kill me before I tell you that." He chuckles smacking me across the other side this time it causes me to fall back in the chair, "That can be arranged. Have I failed to tell you that we have your wife?" I attempt to open my eyes but it's a mission because my face hurts, "You lie." He laughs that's when I hear a scream come from nearby, "Who do you think is beside you, Johnny? Now I'm gonna ask you one more time and if you give me some smartass remark like Jessica did you will regret it. Trust me." He smirks or at least I think he did I couldn't tell by now I'm half alive. They had waterboarded me, beat me with a phone book, attempted to rip out my toenails individually but I wouldn't snap they think this is torture? I see and experience torture in my line of work this is just practice. "Dr. I think we found her." I hear a familiar female voice call out I can't see who's there but I know it sounds so damn familiar. "Oh yeah? Well would you see there I didn't need your help after all." He adds that's when I'm stabbed with a pinch to my arm, "If I can't find her... None of you will..." I mumble passing out.
Jess
I had been left tied to this stupid chair for awhile it seemed like time was going so dreadfully slow as they tried to get me to confess but I wasn't going to give my only daughter away. I had killed my oldest because of these bastards and I wasn't going to let them take the only reason I chose to still go on. Let Lindsey hide if he had learned anything she left the state, found Nona anything to escape this bullshit. When I heard a male yelling beside me in another room I had a hunch who it was and I was devasted for all I knew they had taken Johnny from me or at least tried to make me think that. I began to realize any and everything they would tell me was a mind game of some sort so I had to play the game back was all I would do. At this point I didn't even care if they found Jimmy or Diana I cared about them but I ad a little girl to worry about... I had a seven year old gift on my hands and if any of them hurt her so help me I would find them. I could hear them talking but couldn't understand what they were saying I want to assume it was about Lindsey and how they had widened the search to our of state which was bad but they also spoke about a hospital in Maine... Downtown Maine with a pair of parents who had a pair of newborn twins I knew who they were mentioning now, "Diana." Is all I whisper to myself before trying to break free of the ties ad that's when I hear something. It's tiny footsteps but I hear it then I feel a small hand on mine, "Mommy?" I barely hear my eyes widen and I go stiff, "Are you there, Lindsey? Is that you? Baby?" I whisper very low trying not to draw attention, "Don't worry, Mommy I got you. Trust me, I'm good at knots remember?" She asks undoing the knots that were on my hands. Lindsey was wearing a black hoodie and still in her pajamas but she remained hidden in the shadows, "Lindsey, is that you? Oh baby, we have to get you out of here. We have to run away why didn't you listen to mommy?!" Lindsey puts her hand over my mouth, "Mommy quiet. I had to come back, you're my mom." She whispers I kiss her nose and she takes my hand and takes me through a small hole she had made in the vent shaft, "Clever girl, just like daddy raised you." I whisper lowly allowing her to walk in first and I follow suit after putting the grate back on the vent. "I know where daddy is but I have to leave. It's up to you now, Mommy." She says as we're crawling through the small tunnel, "Alright baby, you go find Nona or Candy... Run away baby no matter who you come into contact with run away." I beg her that's when she hands me a key, "It's for daddy's handcuffs, go kick some ass." She smiles crawling toward the exit.
