A/n so I saw this done with TFIOS so I decided to do it with another one of john greens amaze balls books. So I am going to base the pref over a quote from the great book Looking For Alaska.
Ashton:
"If people were rain, I'd be drizzle and she'd be a hurricane"
Your eyes got wide as you explained your master plan to your best friend Ashton. He nervously bit his lip as he understood your idea. "I dunno Y/N, it seems kinda risky..." Ash said to you anxiously. You just laughed at his unsure ness. But then you pouted at his lack if adventure. "Oh come on Ash, it'll be so fun!" You whined, pulling on his arm. "I don't know... Sneaking into a fair does not sound like something I would do." He looked so unsure that you had to take a moment to recognise him as the fun, daring boy you had befriended. "Ash, what have your parents done to you? What happened to the funny, outgoing boy I used to know?" He narrowed his eyes at the floor, but softened them when he looked at you, "I don't know Y/N," He sighed, "I guess I just lost my way." You grinned and pulled him to the fair, "You ready?" You asked him with a cheeky grin. "Oh puh-lease, I've been ready for a long time." You both ran into the gap in the fence you had found and looked around at all the lights. "You know Y/N," Ash chuckled looking at me, "You're like a hurricane." You giggled and looked up at his Hazel eyes, "And Ash, you were too, but then your parents stifled you into just drizzle."
Calum:
"Y'all smoke to enjoy, I smoke to die."
You pressed the smokey tube to your lips, inhaling the pleasant taste. You were sitting next to your boyfriend Calum in your backyard, Cal rested his hand on top of yours. You looked over to him, the cigarette dangling from your mouth. He coughed in the smoke and chuckled as you guiltily took it out of your mouth. He just laughed and pressed a gentle kiss on your lips. He pulled away and cringed, "You taste like smoke." His cringe turned back into a cheeky grin and he pulled you closer, "But I don't mind." He whispered, kissing you again. You laughed and turned back around again, pulling out another cigarette and lighting it. Cal looks over to you with amusement but that soon turns into a frown of focus. He watches you finish the cigarette and bites his lip in concentration. You stand up and offer him your hand, which he takes graciously and pulls himself up. You both dust off your jeans and walk inside your house. You get a pack of gum out and stick a piece in your mouth - chewing the minty gum. "Ok, so why were you looking at me like that when I was smoking?" He blushes and looks away. You chuckle and place your hand under his chin lifting it up do he looked at you. "C'mon Cal, what's up?" He sighs and looks you dead in the eye. "I was just wondering why you smoke so fast." You blush and look down at the floor. "Some smoke to enjoy it, I smoke to die."
Luke: (his POV)
"She loved mysteries so much that she became one"
She just vanished. One minute she was making dinner, the next she was gone. The only clue of where she went was an address. However, the police had been to that address and found nothing. It was quite ironic really, she always loved reading mysteries and crime. I bet she never knew that she would become one. She was always was telling me how if she was a detective - which she was studying to be - she would do a great job because of all the crime books she had read. I was currently standing right in the middle of the property that was left in the address. I kicked the dry dirt with my foot, creating a dust cloud that surrounded me. I sunk to my knees, my head held in my hands. How could I let her slip through my fingers?! She was right there... I stood back up and looked around again, like last time all I saw was a couple of paddocks and a lot of empty land, with one rusty shack planted off centre - about three feet from where I was. I heard a scuffling behind me and whipped around to see what it was. Then she emerged. I was stunned at the bloody, blue lipped creature, whose eyes followed mine intently. I had to pinch myself to make sure this wasn't a dream, that I wasn't at home with her cuddled up beside me. Man, if that happened I would hold her tighter than ever before. (*wink wink*) But it was real, she was really standing before me. She looked up at me with those eyes that hadn't changed a bit. "Lukey?"
