Star Trek Into Darkness {The Unseen Moments}

Meeting John Harrison.

When Jim and Kaitlynn walked onto the ship, the 19 year old girl was observing her new surroundings. Jim was introducing her to everyone on the ship; Scotty, Bones, Uhura, Carol Marcus, Mr. Sulu, even Spock took a liking to Kaitlynn. Everyone was busy preparing to find John Harrison. Kaitlynn saw this and she asked Jim as he lead her to her room ''Tracking down Harrison?''

''We already found him'' Jim said sternly. ''That's none of your concern though''

Then the door opened and Jim placed Kaitlynn's dufflebag on her bed. Jim looked at his sister and he said ''Make yourself at home''

Jim left and Kaitlynn sighed. ''Just like when we were kids'' she mumbled to herself. Then she went to the bed, opened her dufflebag and grabbed some pajamas. She set them on the edge of her bed and she walked out of her room and walked around the ship. She watched as Jim, Uhura, and Spock going into a small spaceship. She bit down on her lip as Carol Marcus approached her. ''So you're related to Kirk?'' Carol asked.

Kaitlynn looked at Carol and she said ''Yes I am. Are you suprised?''

''Alittle bit'' Carol admitted. ''You seemed more.... Grounded''

Kaitlynn smirked. Then she said ''Trust me I'm like my brother on some levels''

''Such as?'' Carol asked.

Kaitlynn looked at Carol and she said ''Loyalty runs deep in my veins''

Carol smirked and she said ''Lovely''

Then the two girls started walking throughout the ship. ''Well looks like I'll be spending my 20th birthday here''Kaitlynn said to Carol.

''When's your birthday?'' Carol asked.

''In 2 days'' Kaitlynn admitted. Carol smiled and she said ''Happy early birthday''

''Thanks'' Kaitlynn said. Then they entered the main control room. ''Hello Ms. Kirk'' Mr. Sulu said to Kaitlynn. Kaitlynn smiled and she said ''Hello''

''How are you liking the Enterprise so far?'' Mr. Sulu asked

''I feel out of place in my normal clothes but then again I'm only staying here for alittle bit so I am grateful James didn't make me wear a uniform''  Kaitlynn said.

Mr. Sulu chuckled and he said ''You're very lucky''

Kaitlynn smirked and she then observed what they were doing. Then she heard Bones say ''They better get that bastard here sooner than later''

Kaitlynn looked at Bones as he went on to say ''You better be careful when he gets here, Kait. God only knows what he'll do once he gets his hands on you''

Kaitlynn sighed and then she walked away from the main control room. She hated how people think she's some frail thing that could break with even a small trip. She ran her fingers through her hair and once she was alone, she started walking slowly back and forth. Then she saw security guards surrounding a man with jet black hair that was pulled back, ice blue eyes high cheekbones, thin lips, wearing a black leather trenchcoat, a tight, black turtleneck tshirt, black pants and black boots. He looked around and then made eye contact with Kaitlynn. She stood in her place as the very gorgeous man kept his eyes locked on Kaitlynn. Then the man looked away. She followed behind the guards and stood a good distance away as she watched them take off the man's jacket, uncuffed him and placed him in the cell. Once the guards left, she didn't know how or why but the man said ''Hello Kaitlynn'' in a deep voice.

She froze. Eyes widened and body filled with fear. Then she heard him say ''I know you're here so save us the trouble and come out''

Kaitlynn swallowed a hard lump in her throat and then she emerged from her hiding spot and walked in front of the glass door where the man was standing behind. His eyes observed her. Then he made eye contact with Kaitlynn, who's eyes were widened with shock and fear. ''Suprised to see me I presume?'' He asked.

''No'' Kaitlynn lied. ''It's just last time I saw you, you were giving my class a lexture-''

''I know'' he said in an obvious tone of voice. ''I remember you the most from that''

Kaitlynn opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by Jim, Bones, and Spock coming. She hid behind something, out of sight from what she was about to see.

''Why the hell did he surrender?''Bines asked.

''I don't know. But he just took out a squad of Klingons single-handedly. I want to know how'' Jim said.

''Sounds like we have a superman on board'' Bones smirked.

''You tell me'' Jim said. Then Kaitlynn observed Bones taking a blood sample from the criminal known as John Harrison. She didn't hear much since it was a low mumble. Then, Jim and Spock walked away as Harrison said ''Ignore me and you will get everyone on this ship killed''

Spock said something to Jim, but then Spock left. Then Jim went over to Harrison and he said ''Let me explain what's happening here. You are a criminal. I watched you murder innocent men and women. I was authorized to *end* you! And the only reason why you are still alive is because I am allowing it. So *shut your mouth*!''

Harrison made a tsking noise and he said ''Captain, are you going to punch me again, over and over, until your arm weakens... Clearly you want to. So tell me, why did you allow me to live?''

''We all make mistakes.'' Jim says bluntly.

''No,.I surrendered to you because, despite your attempt to convince me otherwise, you seem to have a conscience, Mr. Kirk. If you did not, then it would be impossible for me to convince you of the truth. 23174611. Coordinates not far from Earth. If you want to know why I did what I did, go and take a look''

''Give me one reason why I should listen to you.'' Jim said to Harrison.

''I can give you 72. And they're on board your ship, Captain. They have been, all along. I suggest you open one up'' Harrison said. Then Jim left. Kaitlynn walked over to Harrison and she said ''72 what?''

''Torpedoes, Ms Kirk'' Harrison said.

''Why did you tell James to open one up?'' Kaitlynn asked.

''Why don't you stay and watch once your brother finds out'' Harrison said and the way he said, he demanded it from Kaitlynn. She looked dead at Harrison and she said ''Don't boss me around like I'm a dog''

''Or else what?'' Harrison asked.

Kaitlynn was about to say something but then she couldn't find the words to say it. So she just glared at Harrison and walked away.
