James' POV

The alarm ran.

Jim sat up and he ran his fingers through his hair. Another day of trying to find Kaitlynn Harrison. He looked to his night stand and he saw a picture of him and Kaitlynn when they were younger. He slammed the photo face down and he sat up. He never knew how drained he would be trying to find Kaitlynn. His little sister. His little sister. No. No! He shook his head and then hopped into the shower.

Jim walked onto the ship and he looked at all his crew members. Mr. Sulu, Uhura, Bones, Scotty, Carol Marcus even Spock were all focused on their work. But they did feel uncomfortable with hunting down Kaitlynn, but they didn't bother finding the right words to tell him. Until today. Jim sat down in his Captain's chair and focused on the screen, when Spock came up to him. ''Captain, are you sure you really want to keep doing this?'' He asked.

Jim looked at Spock from the side and then focused back on the screen as he said ''Keep doing what?''

''Keep going after Kaitlynn and Khan?'' Spock asked.

''They're wanted fugitives Mr. Spock. We have to catch them or-'' Jim started but then Bones intervened by saying ''No you have to catch them''

Jim and Spock looked at Bones as he continued on saying ''You've been hell bent on killing your own little sister ever since she went off and married Khan! You really need to let this go. They're both long gone from here and we can't find them anywhere''

Uhura looked at Jim and she said ''Kirk, deep down I know you still love your sister. And deep down I know you miss her, but you should have seen the way her eyes lit up when we talked about Khan-''

''You talked to my sister about Khan!?'' Jim barked.

Uhura looked down and then she explained the situation;

Kaitlynn was caught wandering the ship after her night with Khan, when Uhura stopped her. ''Kaitlynn what do you think you're doing?'' Uhura asked.

Kaitlynn's body froze. ''And more importantly, why are you naked?'' Uhura asked also. Kaitlynn sighed and then she said ''Do you promise not to say a word to anyone? Especially my brother?''

''I promise'' Uhura said.

Kaitlynn sighed and she said ''Me and Khan''

Those three words took Uhura by shock. ''You and Khan? Really?''

Kaitlynn gushed ''Yes''

''How long?'' Uhura asked.

''Well we just started today but I've been visiting his cell at nights for a few days'' Kaitlynn admitted. Then she smiled.

Uhura looked at Kaitlynn confused and she said ''What?''

''It's nothing just... Uhura I'm in love with him'' Kaitlynn admitted with a grin.

''Really?'' Uhura asked in shock.

''Yes, Uhura I can't even begin to explain it. He just makes me feel so... Complete. And wanted. And loved. And he gave me this''

After Kaitlynn said this, she raised her left hand and showed Uhura the ruby ring Khan had given her. Uhura's eyes widened and then she said ''Kaitlynn, I think you just got married''

Kaitlynn looked at Uhura confused. ''Really?''

Uhura nodded her head and she said ''That's no ordinary ruby ring Khan gave you. It's a ceremonial wedding ring. Ceremony or not, he just flat out made you his wife''

Kaitlynn smiled and she said ''Wow...''

Uhura saw how in love Kaitlynn was with Khan and she must be pretty special to Khan if he made her his wife. So she smiled and said ''It's true. You can't help who you fall in love with''

Kaitlynn giggled. Then Uhura said ''You better get to your room before someone else sees you''

Kaitlynn nodded her head 'yes' and then she went off.

Jim's leg was shaking with rage. ''He brainwashed her!'' Jim shouted. ''That ring hypnotized her!''

''No it didn't'' Uhura shouted. ''I talked to Khan and they shared a very intimate moment that night. Kirk drop it! He didn't brainwash her if he did he would've already undid it and killed her by now''

''Lieutenant Uhura does have a point'' Spock said. Jim looked at him and he said ''Not you too''

''Captain, Kaitlynn Harri- Kaitlynn Singh is no where to be found. I say we drop the manhunt charges and we discuss more important matters'' Spock said.

Jim groaned and then he stood up and left the main control room. The ignorance of his crew is simply incomprehensible. They didn't see things the way he did and that made him more determined to find Kaitlynn and put an end to this once and for all.
