Star Trek Into Darkness {The Unseen Moments}

A Trade...

Kaitlynn was pacing back and forth in the main control room. It had been hours since Jim and Khan left to infiltrate Admiral Marcus' ship and she was starting to worry about him. The man she loved and the father of her unborn child was possibly in danger and she couldn't protect him. But he was an assassin. He was born and engineered to defend himself. So that put her mind at ease alittle. Spock noticed her nervousness so he approached her and he said ''Kaitlynn you're nervous''

Kaitlynn looked over at him as he walked up to her and she said ''What makes you say that, Mr. Spock?''

''Your body language says it all'' Mr. Spock said. ''What seems to be troubling you? Your brother in possible danger with Khan as his ally on the Admiral's ship?''

'Something like that'' Kaitlynn muttered. ''It wouldn't matter anyway I don't mean anything to my brother''

''That's not true'' Spock said. ''Your brother loves you very much and is prepared to do anything to protect you. Don't ever doubt your brother's love for you''

Kaitlynn looked at Spock and she said ''For 5 years I've been waiting for him to get into contact with me, to try and reach out to me. Five years, Mr. Spock! And now that me and him are on the same ship, he hardly even has anytime for me.''

''He has alot on his plate'' Spock said simply.

''That's not an excuse anymore'' Kaitlynn said sternly. ''He has no right saying 'I don't have time anymore I'm busy'. I'm here, for what? So he can just ignore me some more?''

As Spock opened his mouth, the screen came on and Khan appeared with Jim and Khan had his shooter pointed at the back of Jim's head as Khan said ''I'm going to make this very simple for you''

Spock and Kaitlynn looked at the screen and Spock said ''Captain!''

''Your crew for my crew.'' Khan said.

''You betrayed us'' Spock said and Kaitlynn smirked at Spock's statement.

''Oh, you are smart, Mr. Spock.'' Khan said with a smirk. Then Jim started to say ''Spock, don't...''

But then Khan hit him on the back of the head with the handle of the gun. Jim grunted and fell to the ground. The crew and Kaitlynn were watching as Khan said ''Mr. Spock, give me my crew.''

Spock asked ''What will you do when you get them?''

''Continue the work we were doing before we were banished.'' Khan said quickly.

Spock said ''Which as I understand it involves the mass-genocide of any being you find to be less than superior.''

''Shall I destroy you, Mr. Spock?'' Khan asked. ''Or will you give me what I want?''

Spock said after a moment of silence ''We have no transporter capabilities''

Khan retorted ''Fortunately, mine are perfectly functioning. Drop your shields.''

Spock said ''If I do so I have no guarantee that you will not destroy the Enterprise.''

Khan smirked and he said ''Well, let's play this out logically then, Mr. Spock. Firstly, I will kill your captain to demonstrate my resolve, then if yours holds I will have no choice but to kill you and your entire crew.''

Spock retorted ''If you destroy our ship, you will also destroy your own people.''

Khan shot back by saying ''Your crew requires oxygen to survive, mine does not. I will target your life support systems located behind the aft nacelle. And after every single person aboard your ship suffocates, I will walk over your cold corpses to recover my people. Now, shall we begin?''

Spock looked away for a minute. Then, as if he forgot something, Khan said ''Wait. I almost forgot.''

''What could you forget?'' Bones asked aggravated.

''The mother of my unborn child and the little sister of your Captain who is also my wife'' Khan said. Everyone on the deck looked at Kaitlynn as if she had committed high treason. Kaitlynn smirked as Spock said ''You betrayed us.. You betrayed your family''

Kaitlynn looked at Uhura and she said ''You can't help who you fall in love with, right Ms. Uhura?''

Uhura looked down in shame as Kaitlynn walked up to Spock and she said ''Bring me to my husband Mr. Spock''

''You do realize that once you're transported, you have committed high treason and your brother will have no choice but to hunt you down and kill you'' Spock informed her.

''He'd have to get through Khan first'' Kaitlynn said quickly and sternly. Then she smirked and said ''And we both know just how that will end''

Spock looked down and then.he said ''...Lower shields.''

Kaitlynn smirked as Khan said ''A wise choice, Mr. Spock.''

Then he scanned the weapon room and said ''I see all 72 torpedoes are still in their tubes. If they're not mine, Commander, I will know it.''

Spock said simply ''Vulcans do not lie. The torpedoes are yours.''

Khan looked on and they were there. ''Thank you, Mr. Spock.'' Khan said. Then he sat in the Captain's chair as  said ''I have fulfilled your terms. Now fulfill mine.'' Jim was starting to awaken as Khan said ''Well Kirk, it seems apt to return you to your crew. After all,'' Then Khan transported Jim, Scotty, and Carol back to the Enterprise and Kaitlynn onto his as he said ''No ship should go down without her captain!''

Khan signed off and then he walked to Kaitlynn and he wrapped his arms around Kaitlynn and she wrapped her arms around Khan's neck tightly. Then Kaitlynn looked into Khan's eyes and she said ''We have to get out of here''

''What? Why?'' Khan asked. Then the ship blew up from under. Khan still had Kaitlynn in his arms and held her tightly as they almost fell over. Luckily he didn't fall on her and she was safe and so was the baby. ''No!'' Khan cried out.

Then, Khan said to Kaitlynn ''You need to get out of here''

''No Khan I'm not leaving you'' Kaitlynn pleaded with her husband.

Khan ran a finger down her cheek and he said ''Trust me Kaitlynn, this is for the best. You are my wife and the mother of my child and I need you both safe for when I return to you''

Then he pressed his lips gently on hers. They shared that sweet moment together, but once he pulled away he went to the controls and started to set the location. ''Your pregnancy will last for 2 years even though my DNA regenerates quickly. It takes time for a baby that has mixed DNA to develop''

''Khan are you sure I will see you after this?'' Kaitlynn asked.

Khan entered the coordinates and he walked to Kaitlynn kissed her one last time then said ''We'll be together soon my love''

Then all Kaitlynn remembered was being transported away.
