Drawing the Line

Khan and Kaitlynn made their way back onto the ship with Max safely in their presence. Kaitlynn placed her son in the bassinet and then she made her way over to her husband. "Khan? What're you thinking?" She asked.

Khan, still looking at the screen, heard his wife and he said "Kirk can't get away with what he's done"

Kaitlynn raised a eyebrow as she said "What do you mean?"

Khan looked at her and then he said "We have to infiltrate the ship somehow. But how is the question"

Kaitlynn thinks to herself. Then she thinks of an idea. She smiles devilishly at Khan, who notices quickly. "While I am rather turned on by your smile, what do you have in mind?"

"Well we have to wait a few years to initiate the plan but I think it can work" Kaitlynn said to her husband.

"What can work?" Khan asked.

Then she made her way over to him and whispers her plan into his ear. After she was done, she looks at Khan, who is very displeased with the plan. "No" He said sternly.

"Why not?" Kaitlynn asked.

Khan stood up and he said "I'm not losing you again, Kaitlynn"

He walks away as Kaitlynn followed him saying "Khan this is our only chance to be rid of everything! We can finally be free if this works"

"And you're willing to risk your life to lose not only me but our son?" Khan snapped at her.

"This is my way of protecting you and our son, Khan!" Kaitlynn shouted. "I lost you for two years I'm not losing you again! I love you way too much to go through this again! My brother needs to die and this plan might work if you can actually trust me!"

She was holding back her tears as she said all of this. Khan swallowed a lump in his throat trying to contain his tears. He lowered his head as Kaitlynn continued to cry. He looked at her and he said "Kaitlynn, darling?"

He took her into his arms and he said as he stroked her hair "If this is the way to do it, then so be it"

Kaitlynn looked up at her husband and she asked him "Khan, are you sure?"

"While I don't like the plan whatsoever and I think you can get yourself killed, if that's the only way to do it, then so be it"

Khan kissed her on the lips softly and he said to her "I love you, Kaitlynn, so much"

Kaitlynn sniffed and she said "I love you too Khan"
