No More Tears

Khan was sleeping peacefully in the bed, Max was sleeping in his bassinet, but Kaitlynn was wide awake. She was looking out the window her and Khan's bedroom, observing outerspace. While she loved her family here on the ship, she did feel alittle homesick. She wondered what her brother was doing, what her friends were doing. She knew what she did was wrong, but to her it just felt so right being with Khan. And now that she has had his son, nothing could make her leave. But... The simple memory of her brother disowning her after he found out about what she did made her heart ache alittle. Then she started to cry. She didn't want to, but her emotions got the best of her. She pulled her knees to her chest and buried her face in her knees and just cried. She just cried. All of the years of heartache, the pain, the suffering, all just came out of her.

Then she felt strong and yet gentle arms wrapped around her. She sat up and then felt soft lips kiss her neck gently. She looked over her shoulder as Khan said ''Are you alright?''

Kaitlynn wiped her tears away and she sniffed as she said ''I... I don't know''

Khan unwrapped his arms and he went to sit infront of her. He placed his hands gently on her arm and he said ''What's wrong?''

''It's nothing I... I'm just alittle homesick that's all'' Kaitlynn admitted.

''Have you tried reaching out to your brother?'' Khan asked.

''That's just the thing...'' Kaitlynn said. Then she looked into her husband's crystal blue eyes and she said ''James disowned me. He's on a manhunt for my head... Khan he wants me dead''

Then she continued to cry. Khan pulled her into his arms and she cried into his chest. He stroked her hair and kissed her head. He never wanted to see his wife hurting. ''Kaitlynn darling... Come now''

Then he lifted her chin up and wiped her tears away. ''No more tears''

Then she sniffed as Khan said ''I promise I won't let anything happen to you''

Kaitlynn sniffed and smiled at her husband. She nodded her head and then they shared a soft yet passionate kiss.
