Tucker set Norah down on the floor to play with her toys.

"I have something to tell you Scar." He said in all seriousness. He gave me the 'Your in trouble' look.

"Whats going on Tuck?" I asked starting to feel nervous. It felt like my throat was closing and it was getting hard to breathe, I tried to keep my breaths steady but it was getting harder and harder. He always made me so scared when we had talks like this.

"Someone tried following you home tonight. I almost got in a wreck trying to get them to loose site of you before you turned down your street. I have no clue who it was. But we obviously need to start taking more precautions." He stared into my eyes, when he noticed I was having a hard time comprehending this he scooted next to me, wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to his chest.

"Did you recognize him from work? Was he watching me dance? What are we going to do? Maybe I should call Lena and ask her if she could take Norah for a couple days. Just so I know shes safe. May..." Tucker put his hand over my mouth.

"Scar! Listen, he didn't see what street you turned down so your safe tonight. but for the future, we need to start making sure no one is following you. I don't follow you every night. So who knows how many whack jobs have tried. We'll talk about it tomorrow." He said standing up, he bent down and picked Norah up off the floor, I hadn't even noticed she had fallen asleep. He walked her down the hall to her bedroom. I stood up and grabbed Norah's blanket, Binky and her favorite pillow. When we returned to the living room, I sat back down on the couch trying to figure out what to do about this whole situation. I was deep in thought when Tucker's voice startled me.

"Scar. I'm heading home. Lock the doors, I'll talk to you tomorrow." He turned to leave.

"WAIT!" I Said before I could think. I had no idea what I wanted him to wait for, so I paused a minute to think."Please... will you stay with me tonight? I don't want to be alone." I stood up and started walking over to him.

"Course I will Scar." He wrapped me in a big hug. "As long as I get to sleep in your bed with you." He joked.

"HA HA! Your funny. I'll go grab some extra blankets and pillows." I pulled myself out of Tucker's hug and walked down the hallway to my bedroom, which was the last door at the end of the hall. I grabbed a purple quilt my great grandmother had made out of the top of my closet and two pillows out from under my bed and left my room. I handed the pillows and blankets to Tucker.

"Let me know if you need anything." He cautioned.

"You too." I winked. I went back to my bedroom and laid down in my bed. Thinking about who would have followed me. Who would want to follow me and what they could possibly want. I had laid there for about half an hour when I heard something. I sat straight up and listened really hard. Th-whack. There it was again. Something was hitting my window. I stood up and looked at the window. Th-whack. That was all it took and I was out of there. I ran down the hallway to the living room and jumped on the couch where Tucker was laying.

"What's going on?" He said startled. He began to sit up.

"There's something hitting my window." I said I was shaking like a dog.

"Is it a tree?" He looked at me like I was an air head.

I stood up and stared at him. "I don't have trees near that part of my  house!" I started getting offended. He was acting like I was stupid and worrying about nothing. When some crazy person was trying to stalk me! That Norah might be in danger. That I am probably in danger. How could he be acting like this? I was scared and he was acting like it was nothing.

"OK, I'll go look." He slipped his shoes on and walked to the door. I followed him. When he walked out the door I immediately shut it and locked it. I stared out the window and tried to see if i could see anyone. But I couldn't. I saw Tucker coming so I unlocked the door for him. I Let him in and shut the door and locked it.

"What was it?" I turned to look at him.

"I couldn't find anything." He said.

"Well should I go get a bag ready? Should we take Norah to Lena's? Where am I supposed to go?" I noticed I was getting ahead of myself again so I stopped to wait for some answers.

Not yet Scar. It could have been anything. We need to wait till we can catch someone out there. You're welcome to share the couch with me" He grinned and winked.

"It's my couch! I'll sleep there whether I'm invited or not." I said laughing, "But no thanks." I started walking down the hallway but stopped half way and turned around, to look at Tucker. "Will you come sleep with me? Maybe they will come back and you'll hear it too and be able to catch them." I sounded like a scared baby. I sounded like I was seventeen months old like Norah. Except Norah wouldn't be scared like this. She doesn't know there's anything to be scared about.

"Sure." He said grabbing his pillows and blanket. "I thought you'd never ask." He laughed.

"Oh my god! Were you banging on my window?"

"No. Actually I wasn't" He said with a straight face, "But If I knew that was all I had to do to be able to sleep with you I would have." He followed me down the hall. I climbed into bed with Tucker climbing in after me. I snuggled up next to him real close and fell asleep.
