Chapter Seventeen

Y/n had woken up, at home in Hateno. She had quickly changed into her Champion gear before heading outside. She knew Lord Kurro had left as his horse was gone from the makeshift field. Night Sky stayed there as she grazed. Y/n continued across the path as the villagers greeted her. A few needed help so she used the ice to help lift them to places they needed to reach whilst the flames renewed the crops for the farmers. Small gold stars started to appear so y/n looked towards the direction that Rito village rested in. She could see a bird like shape approaching.

"Looks like we have a Champion approaching," y/n chuckled.
"He missed you Mistress," one of the farmers chuckled.
"I better go greet him," y/n told them, "I'll be right back."

Her Rito wings appeared as she took to the sky. They carried her towards Revali as his gale activated to keep them hovering.

"You flew here early," y/n smiled, "Didn't expect you to come until the evening."
"Surprise visit before I help Mipha," he replied.
"The stars kinda warned me," y/n chuckled.

Rauru then released a roar to greet Revali before flying in a golden owl form.

"It's been a while Rauru," Revali greeted, "Have you been looking after y/n?"

Rauru landed on him and pecked his head.

"I'll take that as a yes," he chuckled.
"Rauru is always protecting me. He's always around," y/n replied softly.

Rauru flew around her before returning to its Divine Beast form. Revali then followed y/n towards the village before they landed outside her home. Her Rito features fading to her Hylian ones. Y/n opened her palm face up as golden stars floated in it.

"Help them whilst me and Revali talk," she whispered.

The golden stars floated off whilst y/n and Revali entered her home.

"So what was the real reason to your visit? You know the stars appear when we're near each other," y/n questioned with a raised brow.
"I wanted you to accompany me to Zora's domain. There is a lynel that Mipha needs help with. I thought that you and I could handle it quickly," Revali explained, "I may have also missed you."

Y/n didn't hear the last part as he mumbled it.

"What was that last bit?" Y/n asked, bringing him close.
"It's nothing. Should we head off then?" He replied, trying to avoid the last bit he said.
"I'll ask Rauru later," y/n stated innocently before fleeing.
"He heard?!" Revali asked yet demanded.

Both of them flew into the sky and towards Zora's domain. Y/n was laughing at Revali's attempts to find out if Rauru knew but y/n knew that Rauru could hear anything in their domain.
Soon enough, they landed in Zora's Domain. Mipha approached with her trident.

"Ready?" Mipha asked, smiling.
"I am. Not sure about Lady Hateno," Revali used her formal title in a way to tease her.

Y/n rolled her eyes. She brought her left hand to the side as gold stars appeared, forming the light bow.

"I'm ready," y/n replied as she took the bow.

Before Mipha could show them the way, y/n used the ice to boost her into the air.

"Hurry up!" Y/n called back, cheekily.

The ice shattered once her feet touched the ground. Mipha swam up to her whilst Revali landed. They then followed Mipha to the location of the lynel. Y/n started to take aim as the golden light caught the attention of the lynel.
