The next morning had followed with the remaining journey to the spring of courage. Revali was looking at the area as it was unknown to him. Night Sky stayed by y/n as Lord Kurro led his horse by her. Lord Kurro was keeping to his thoughts whilst his free hand clenched the pendant tightly. As they arrived, the spring started to glow gold.
"So who wants to meet me?" Revali asked as he didn't see anyone.
"M/n," Lord Kurro answered. He placed the pendant in the water for it to disappear. The gold light then took the form of a Hylian woman. She seemed to wear a goddess like dress with golden jewellery. The pendant had then appeared around her neck.
"So you're the Rito, Rauru spoke of and y/n mentioned," m/n started as she walked to the edge of the water.
"Mother," y/n smiled.
"How have you been my little angel? How are you Kurro?" M/n smiled.
"Free," y/n joked.
"Missing you, f/n, Yuri and Faron," Lord Kurro chuckled.
"Well I thank you both for looking after my daughter," m/n commented as she added, "Revali, the protectors of the light temple, thank you personally and through my magic. We thank you for protecting the last one of our clan and for that, we will empower Revali's gale, empower your bow where it never breaks and only grows in strength with you. We even give you a single wish."
"Are you sure about this mother?" Y/n questioned, "The toll is massive in your power."
"I am sure. I granted Kurro's wish to make you blood related. I can grant one more," m/n replied with a brighter smile.Revali didn't know what to say nor what to wish for.
"The wish doesn't have to be used now," m/n told him.
"The wish stays with you but in the form of a star. This star becomes a pendant and when you're ready, it will grant your wish," y/n explained.
"Except I must go now. My power has finally faded from the pendant. There's no need for it and the small amount left is for that wish. Thank you Revali. I love you y/n and Kurro," m/n spoke as her body started to fade into flurries of stars and snowflakes.
"Rest in peace mother," y/n spoke.
"We'll see each other soon," Lord Kurro told her.
"Goodbye," Revali said.Lord Kurro watched the pendant shatter into nothing as the star pendant appeared on Revali's neck. He hid it under his armour whilst he felt his gale grow stronger and his bow enhance.
"Would you like to come to Kariko Rev?" Y/n asked him.
"I'll meet you at Hyrule. I want to quickly check on the Rito's," Revali replied but whispered, "After, I want you to come to Rito Village with me."
"Until then," y/n started as she mounted Night Sky, "I bid you farewell Master Revali."Revali rolled his eyes at her teasing tone. Lord Kurro mounted his horse as he chuckled.
"See you in a day maybe two," Lord Kurro commented.
The two horses turned and galloped away whilst Revali watched y/n. He smiled to himself before taking to the skies. His gale got him up quicker then before which only added onto his schedule to train it more. The closer he got to Rito Village, the more he could see Medoh flying high in the sky. He could see the Rito's were all safe which made him sigh in relief.
"Afternoon Medoh," Revali greeted the Divine Beast once he landed.
A turquoise sort of green had appeared to reveal Medoh in bird form. This bird looking like one of the eagles nearby.
"I see you like your new form," he chuckled.
Medoh nudged him before disappearing into the Divine Beast again.
"Now I see why Rauru had this form for so long. It gives us company," Revali commented almost chuckling.
As if hearing it's name, Rauru appeared with a letter. When Revali had it, Rauru returned to its Divine Beast.
Hey Rev,
I forgot to mention it's a banquet at Hyrule. Wear something formal. Also you'll need to leave your bow but if you have it, you can leave it with Night Sky. No one touches her or Kurro's horse's gear.
Yours truly, y/n.He groaned internally. He flew back down to the village before going to the tailor.
"Master Revali! What brings you here?" A cheery female Rito exclaimed.
"Lady y/n told me I need to look my best for the Hyrule banquet. Got anything here?" He questioned but knew it would.
"Of course! I could even match you with Lady y/n!" The female Rito teased, "I'm sure she'll love it!"Revali tried to hide his blush but failed.
"It's alright Master Revali. We all know of your connection to Lady y/n. Last time we all noticed you watching her here and smiling. It's such a rare thing nowadays," the female Rito said as she took measurements.
"I want her to stay here," Revali finally admitted.
"From what me and my husband have seen, Hateno Village is her home. Lord Hateno and her are family. She may not leave even if you ask her," the female Rito said before adding, "For now, take it easy. Also what colour so you and Lady y/n match?"
"She'll be wearing traditional Hateno colours which match our Rito ones luckily. So do that," Revali told her, then asked, "What gift would you recommend I give her? I want her to have something that belongs to the Rito but something she holds close."
"May I?" The Rito questioned. He allowed her as the Rito removed some of his wing feathers.
"I'll make this into a hair accessory. You know our traditions to wear our soulmates feathers. One day, she'll ask me to do the same for you," the Rito female commented, happily.
Revali smiled to himself at this but waited a few hours for the tailor to finish. When she was, he paid and left with his fancy attire. He looked at the darkening sky.
"An hour to get there," Revali spoke his thoughts, "Should be easy."
After that, he shot into the sky with his gale activating.
The Hyrule banquet will be in the next chapter. I have an idea for it and want it to be one entire chapter with some other things added into it (though it may be in a second chapter) <3
