Chapter Three

Y/n woke up early and put her cloak back on. She raised the hood as she started to make her way to the stable. She had to get to Night Sky since she was meant to be at the castle for the official ceremony soon. Once she got her horse, Night Sky had began to gallop back in the direction of Hyrule Castle. After a bit longer, she slowed her horse down to a walk as they entered Hyrule town. All eyes fell on her as people welcomed her back. Y/n offered them a smile since her hood hid her eyes. The guards let her pass before she stopped outside the castle itself. Night Sky was taken to the stables as y/n got escorted to the throne room. Waiting for her was King Rhoam, Princess Zelda, Link, Mipha and Daruk.

"Welcome back Lady y/n," King Rhoam spoke up.
"Thank you Your Majesty," y/n replied politely as she curtsied.

Y/n stood in front of the owl flag of the Divine Beast flags. Mipha and Daruk stood in front of their own as did Urbosa when she appeared. Y/n noticed Zelda struggling to keep her composure whilst they waited for Revali. Y/n and Link already got their champion cloth to show they were officially one. Revali turned up and waited in front of his one to represent Medoh. He was on the end but by y/n who was by Urbosa. The ceremony then started. Y/n had her cloak hood down which revealed her appearance to everyone. She was aware of the bored looks and the people struggling to hold their upright postures. She could see Revali with a bored expression yet he was composed like he was royalty himself. He made eye contact with her as an amused smirk appeared. The ceremony ended as they all left to the hall, to celebrate. Y/n stayed back as she continued to watch. It then came to the Champions dancing. Mipha and Link danced together. Urbosa and Daruk danced together whilst y/n and Revali danced together.

"I have never been so bored," he spoke lowly to her.
"We could try and sneak out after this dance?" Y/n suggested lowly.
"And let them miss my amazing self?" He joked lowly.
"I could say the same," she teasingly spoke.
"Shall we show them that Rito's dance the best?" He asked with a pride filled voice.
"We shall," she giggled which was music to his ears.

Revali shifted his hold and posture as y/n did the same. The dance became more graceful as it flowed. It was like watching flower petals dance in the wind. Y/n had sensed every eye focusing on her.

"They are all watching us," she whispered to him whilst her eyes stayed locked with his.
"Let them. We are the best in this room," he whispered back.

Y/n smiled at his comment before she started to lose herself in the dance. The speed they danced at had increased. Urbosa and Daruk were still dancing together whilst Mipha and Link took a break. The song ended as they separated. Y/n curtsied to Revali as he bowed to her.

"Thank you for the dance," she said before heading outside with the other champions.

Revali followed behind. After inspecting the sheikah slate, all of them took a group picture. It was starting off as normal until Daruk pulled everyone into a group hug. Y/n was blushing bright red as she was pressed up against Revali. Revali was caught off guard and sending a glare to Daruk. Link and Zelda were squashed in the middle. Mipha in shock on the other end. Urbosa was laughing in it. The picture was taken before Daruk released them. Revali shot into the air as he hovered above them. He wasn't interested in being squashed. Y/n was fanning herself with her hand as she tried cooling down. Urbosa and Daruk were laughing at the reactions. Mipha was shyly blushing with Zelda. Link went back to being emotionless. They were called inside for dinner where they got allocated seats. Urbosa was beside Zelda and Daruk as Mipha was by Link and y/n. Zelda was by her father who was at the head. Revali was sat by Daruk but opposite to y/n since Impa was on the other side of the King. Y/n could hear them talking about abilities where she found out. Mipha had healing but it was called Mipha's Grace. Urbosa had lightning known as Urbosa's Fury. Daruk had a unbreakable shield called Daruk's Protection. Then Revali was able to make an updraft called Revali's Gale. They all turned to y/n expectantly. She sighed internally because she knew she had to tell them now. Her right hand opened as the palm faced Skyward. Star like magic floated from it.
