#8 Zachariah (Harry Potter)

Sexuality: Straight (depends, sometimes I might make him a Closetted Bi, I haven't decided yet)

Personality: Zach is a loner and often intriguing and mysterious to others. He likes to keep to himself but he is not a shy person. He's just not very verbal, making his wand perfect for him as Pine wood is very sensitive to non verbal magic. It takes a lot of trust for him to open up to others. He is very smart but doesn't really let it show. He rarely has a filter and isnt the nicest of people because people are scared of him, thinking he is like his parents so he drives people away. And he has been known to be violent if provoked. But he is actually a very nice person, he just goes along with the evil act because when he tries to be nice people don't trust him, but if you're one of the people who actually gets to know him and that he cares for he is extremely loyal and will do anything in his power to to ensure your safety.

While in his wolf form, Zachariah is actually very kind and sweet, he's like a big teddy bear. Whike like this, it makes him feel more comfortable and he feels like he can be more like who he actually is.

Likes: Reading, potions, defense against the dark arts, charms, being alone, when he gets to see Lupin

Dislikes: People who annoy him, Herbology, Divination, the fact that he has tried so hard to be different from his parents and yet still not the nicest of people

Talents: Potions, charms

Brief backstory: Zachariah was born into a pure blood family and he was expected to carry on the family bloodline. His parents were death eaters but were captured and executed by the ministry of magic for being loyal to Voldemort. Zach was only 3 at the time and Rumus Lupin actually took him under his wing, for a brief time anyway. Lupin knew his parents from school and was once his father's friend until they turned to the dark side. He didn't think it was fair to leave a three year old alone so he took care of him for a few years until his first year at Hogwarts. Due to his condition, Lupin would be gone and so Zach was left alone at times. In this time he did a lot of reading. Zachariah had no desire to follow his parent's footsteps and Lupin raised him the best he could enough, but he still ended up in Slytherin.

When he was younger, Zachariah really wanted to be like Lupin and be a werewolf. But Lupin didn't want Zach to suffer like he did and the boy didn't know how awful it could be, Zach just thought it was cool. So, Remus decided to teach him to be an Animagus as an alternative.

Family: Deceased. But he counts Lupin as his family, hes like a father to him

Flaws: Drives people away because he thinks he's bad for people, comes across really mean and heartless but is actually very nice, caring and friendly

Fears: Becoming what his parents did,

Pets: An owl called Ezekiel

Other: He is one of the best at potions and has a very good knowledge on the subject, but ironically Snape and Zach do not get along the best. Zach actually admires Snape more than he dislikes him and Snape secretly wants best for him because he is one of his best students who reminds him a lot of what he used to be.
No one actually knows that Zachariah was raised by Lupin other than Snape, Dumbledore and Mcgonagall. But everyone knows about his parents being Death eaters. And no one knows that he's an Animagus either except for those same teachers and Lupin of course.
