Lily was incredibly excited for Christmas. She and Teddy had arrived at Teddy's house four days ago, and they were having the time of their lives. Lily had already picked out everyone's present. For Teddy, she had gotten pranking supplies, chocolate, and a pair of fake wolf ears. For Harry and Ron, she had gotten loads of sweets. For Hermione, she had gotten a scarlet jumper and some new books. For Teddy's parents, she had gotten coffee and some sweets. For Krummy, she had gotten a golden snitch and a book on famous seekers. For Charlie, she had gotten some new protective gloves, along with a cookbook, seeing as he could actually cook, unlike her. And last but not least, she had gotten Minnie a quill that graded papers for her and a hat, along with a note not to forget about the jumper from last year.

She was planning on visiting both Krummy and Charlie on Christmas Eve to exchange presents. Teddy was coming too, as he had grown quite close to them as well. Currently, she was sitting on the couch playing catch with herself, while randomly jumping on Teddy from time to time. She suddenly jumped up, and landed on Teddy's back. He just laughed and raced around the room while she clung to him. She loved the Walters. Teddy's parents names were Jackie and Allister, and they were amazing people. They had immediately offered to take Lily in when her adopted parents died, and she loved them to death.

On Christmas Eve, she woke up early for once, and dressed in her favorite grey shirt and black jeans, before lazily shooting water at Teddy, making him jump up. He just dried himself off, since they were both normally used to getting water sprayed in their faces as a wake up call. He got dressed while she went downstairs. They had already informed Jackie and Allister of their plans for the day. The only thing they had to lie about was how they were getting there.

Before long, they were ready to go, and grinned at each other before turning on their heels and disapparating. They appeared in Krummy's dorm room, and Lily immidiately tackled him in a hug, shrieking,

"KRUMMY!" He hugged her back and screamed,

"LILLIAN!" They both started speaking Blugarian,

"Happy Christmas Krummy! How are you? Have you won any quidditch matches since the last time I saw you? " Krummy laughed,

"Happy Christmas Lillian! I'm great, I have won two more matches." They grinned at each other, before Krummy turned to Teddy. Lily had done a charm on him that enabled him to speak Bulgarian. She had actually invented it, as there wasn't one before. She grinned happily as Teddy and Krummy caught up. Then Krummy pulled them over to a small Christmas tree and they exchanged presents. Lily ripped open hers and grinned. Krummy had gotten her a new pair of quidditch gloves along with loads of chocolate. She tackled him in another hug. Krummy had given Teddy pranking supplies and chocolate. They always recieved a ton of chocolate, seeing as they were both obsessed. They spent the morning laughing together and celebrating, before Lily and Teddy sadly hugged him goodbye.

They spun on their heels and apparated to just outside Charlie's house. Lily didn't even bother knocking, and opened the door, screaming,

"SHADOW AND FLAME HAVE ARRIVED!" There was a crash from the other room, before Charlie appeared swept them both into a hug. They all fell over, laughing their heads off.

"Happy Christmas Charles!" He grinned and said,

"Happy Christmas you two! Come on, I have presents!" Lily grinned and they both followed him into the other room and gave Charlie their presents. He loved them both and handed Teddy a box. He opened it and found a book on dragons and more chocolate. He grinned and hugged Charlie.

Charlie turned to Lily, grinning,

"Your present doesn't exactly wrap well. Come with me." Lily grinned and followed Charlie to a dragon enclosure. He brought her over to an adorable ice blue dragon and said,

"Ta-da! Here we are Dragon-Tamer. Meet your Christmas present!" Lily's eyes widened as she understood what he meant, before she squealed and jumped on Charlie, saying,

"Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!" Charlie laughed,

"No problem. She's yours, what are you going to call her?" Lily carefully approached the baby dragon and bent down. The adorable dragon crawled into her lap and blew a puff of smoke at her affectionately. Lily postitively beamed,

"Ash. Her name is Ash." Ash perked up hearing the name and snuggled into Lily's chest. She laughed and pet her scales.

"Will I be able to bring her to Hogwarts?" she asked Charlie hopefully.

"Yes. I talked to Dumbledore and he said she can be raised at hogwarts with you." Lily beamed and cuddled Ash.

"Thank you Charlie. This is the best Christmas present ever!" He laughed,

"No problem Dragon-Tamer. You're still coming for half the summer right?" Lily nodded,

"Yeah, there are a couple days that I will have to return each month, but other than that, half the summer." She would have to return each month to help Teddy on full moon days. Teddy whirled around when she said that with wide eyes,

"You don't have to-" Lily cut him off leaving no room for argument,

"I want to. You will not be able to stop me, so don't even try." Teddy smiled and swept her into another hug.

They spent the rest of the day with Ash and Charlie, before Lily picked up Ash, and they apparated back to the Walters' house.

When Teddy's parents saw Ash, they literally screamed, making Teddy and Lily both laugh,

"Don't worry. She's not going to hurt you. This is Ash, I got her for Christmas from Charlie Weasley. I have a strange effect on dragons. They all are really calm around me, and love me. She won't hurt anyone unless I tell her to. She's going to come with me back to Hogwarts, and she should be fully grown by the end of the year, Dragons grow really quickly." They calmed down considerably at that and nodded, before cautiously reaching out a hand to pet her. Ash practically purred, and bumped her head against their hads affectionately.

"Wow, you really do have that effect on them Lily!" Jackie laughed, making Lily grin smugly.

The rest of break went by quickly. Christmas was wonderful. Lily recieved a lot of chocolate and books. Ash was already part of the family, she hadn't set anything on fire, and she made friends with Lily's cat, Marauder. She acted more like a dog than a dragon, and was already growing. She was now up to Lily's knees and loved playing fetch. She would fly after whatever was thrown and hadn't missed once. Lily positively adored her.

Before long, the holidays were over and they were back in their compartment on the Hogwarts Express, with Ash curled up in Lily's lap.
