The farmers market is busy for a Sunday afternoon. I walk past a mother holding hands with her daughter and smile at them. The little girl with blonde curls smiles back.

My phone buzzes in my pocket as I pass the fresh tomatoes. I see Niklaus name on the screen.

"Hello," I say as I put the phone between my ear and shoulder, reaching to find the best tomatoes.

"Hello Love," His voice comes through the speaker, I smile as I put my tomatoes in the basket. After being together for over a century and a half the sound of his voice still gives me butterflies. "I am calling to inform you I will be home a little later than expected, my brother has decided to take it upon himself to get in my way of finding the moonstone."

Niklaus has been on the search for the moonstone to break the curse that has been put on werewolves. I was unsure why he cared about the curse since he was able to control when he changed but I am sure it is to help his fellow wolfs.

I frown, "What about dinner?" I ask. Tonight is our anniversary and we were supposed to have a homecooked meal and watch another rom-com that he pretend to enjoy.

There was silence on his end as he tried to form the perfect answer, "I will make it up to you love, I promise."

I put the basket in front of the owner of the booth and hand him a few one-dollar bills. Sighing I grab my phone, "Niklaus, you promise me last week and the week before." The owner hands me my change and bagged tomatoes, "But fine I will just watch my movie alone again." I walk back towards my car.

"Allison, love, I do wish I could be there to celebrate with you." He says softly, "But you know how important this is for me to find."

I knew he had been searching for years, longer than we had been together.

I unlock my car, "I know." I sit in the driver seat, "I will see you when you get back from the search."

"I love you Allison," he says.

"I love you Niklaus, forever and always." I end the call and head home.

Walking into the little cottage Klaus purchased for us a few months ago. It is no New Orleans, but Klaus says it is the perfect home for us to live and to hide from Mikael.

I set my groceries down and being to unpack them.

"I don't know why you buy so many vegetables," Klaus says as he places them in the basket on the counter.

I laugh, "I love fresh veggies, I don't know why you're judging me."

He turns and gives me a small smirk, " I am not judging you, love, I am just confused on how you could enjoy eating so many green plants that grow from the ground." He turns towards the fridge.

"You drink blood for nutrition," I state, "I don't think you need to talk about my food choices."

Suddenly he is standing in front of me and presses me against the counter, "I think you are talking a little too much," He leans in kisses me as a smile spreads across my face.

A knock at the door brings me back to reality.

I set down the bag of noodles and walk to the door. Opening it without thinking I see no one standing there. I step outside and look on the porch to see if something must have flown into the door.

I turn around to go inside and stumble when I see her standing there.

"Hello Allison, miss me?" Then everything goes black

Soft mutters alert that I am not alone. I blink as I try to bring my vision back. I see two silhouettes standing a few feet in front of me. I try to reach for my phone in my pocket but realize my arms are chained to a stone wall.

"Hello," my voice croaks, "where am I?"

They stop talking as one walks towards me, a man, his black hair and blue eye almost identical to mine. "You're in Mystic Falls," The man says crouching down to my level, "We are trying to lure Klaus out and we heard you're his little weakness." His smirks at me, it was looking into a mirror, it was the same smirk I give Klaus when I get my way.

"Damon," A soft voice calls from behind him. She slowly comes into the light and I see her brown hair and brown eyes and I scream, it's Katherine Pierce.

I kick my feet as I push up against the wall, "GET AWAY FROM ME!" I scream, Katherine looks confused, "GET AWAY KATHERINE!"

Damon stands up and looks at her then back at me. "This isn't Katherine," Damon points at her, "This is Elena," I stop screaming as I listen to him, "the girl your lover is trying to kill."

I shake my head, "Why would Klaus want to kill her if she isn't Katherine?" Confusion arises inside me.

"Because I am the doppelganger and he needs my blood to break the curse," Elena speaks.

Just then my phone buzzes and Damon reaches to grab it, putting it on speaker, "Ahhh - the man we've been waiting for."

"Where is Allison?" I hear Niklaus's voice.

Damon looks at me, eyeing me up and down, "Allison is a little chained up right now, can I take a message?"

"WHERE IS SHE!" He shouts I can tell by his voice is going to kill Damon and Elena the minute he finds us for taking me, he loves revenge.

"Meet us at the old Lockwood Estate in an hour," Damon says, "or I'll drain her dry." He ends the call.

I can't tell if the panic in my chest is from the chance I could die, or the fact these two are about to meet their worst nightmare. Niklaus Mikaelson
