Soooo.... what a week this was. Seriously heartbroken by the news. Don't know if we still have a fandom interested in AzKar. Not sure if I should continue updating... this could possibly be the last part...

With so many people leaving the show and giving up of them, don't know if writing a story is still worth it. But anyways, enjoy the new part and let me know how you felt about it.

Looking forward to your reviews!

Once her tears had finally stopped, she had stepped into the shower, hoping to calm herself. Hoping to ease off the burden crushing her heart. In one night, he had brought back the pain and the despair she had felt 7 years ago.

It was all still too fresh...time had not healed her wounds, memories had not blurred, and feelings had not ceased to exist.

She had not moved on a day beyond that night.

Had not had a closure.

Her heart still bleeding for all that they both had lost...

Maybe as a punishment for her own sins.

Once she dried off, she pulled on a loose t-shirt. His t-shirt...one of the ones she had still kept. One of the ones she used to wear after they made love... because he liked seeing his clothes on her. Her past attempts to burn it always ended up being unsuccessful.

It was another one of his memories that she still kept with her. Because it reminded her of the precious moments when she had been the closest to him. Mind, body, and soul.

She kept it for that memory.

Roughly shrugging back her wet hair, she laid down on her bed, her legs bare. Pulling the blanket over her body, she laid back on the pillow, staring up at the ceiling.

Remembering the times when she had been the happiest girl alive, married to the man she loved, free to choose whatever she wanted to do.

They were married. One in the eyes of God. One in the eyes of the Law. One in the name of Love. Two bodies, one soul. Husband and Wife.

She stared at her reflection in the mirror. The ceiling to floor length mirror in his room.

Their room.

The house was eerily quiet. He had sent his mother and his siblings back to Adana after the wedding that afternoon...fearing a retaliation from her family. Fearing for their safety. They must have already reached home and gone to sleep as it was almost close to midnight.

She had eloped with him. Married him in secret in the presence of Fadik Ana and Babaanne. Both women helping them to settle the family feud.

Her diamond studs glittered in the mirror, a gift her Baba had given her on her birthday many years ago. The only memory and the only form of blessing she had from her family.

They had disowned her when she had refused to marry Celasun, called her a traitor, kicked her out of their family... as if she had committed the greatest sin.

But love wasn't a sin. Her grandfather had told her, love was everything...family was everything.

She hadn't gone against her family...she had just accepted the man she had fallen in love with, with all his flaws.

Azer had accepted and respected her love for her family. Why hadn't they done the same, for her sake?

She realized that tears were sliding down her cheeks, messing up her appearance.
