Unexpected Love (a Percico/Pernico AU) (HIATUS)

Chapter 2

~Lë time skiip~

Percy woke up smiling. He remembered what dream he was having, which was not unusual for Percy. He had been dreaming about Nico. The dream was a bit fuzzy to him; The only clear thing in them had been Nico. Percy remembered that it was a school day and he might see Nico at school. He looked down at his phone and saw that it was 10%. Percy unlocked it and saw what he was looking at. On the screen were pictures of him and Annabeth, his best friend, at the awards ceremony (A/N do you know what I'm talking about?). He had been checking if he could see Nico on the stage. He must have fallen asleep halfway through.

He got up, put his phone on charge, went to the bathroom, and did what he needed to. He came out, ready for school, now all he needed was breakfast. Percy checked his phone: 53%.

He snuck quietly downstairs.

"Mom!" Percy shouted while hugging said person, who was setting out the table with blue pancakes for Percy and toast for her and Paul.

"You're waking up in a good mood? Who are you? You're not my son!" Sally joked while holding him at arm's length with a playful smile on her lips. Percy blushed and suddenly became interested in the floor. "Tell me what happened." Sally pleaded while nudging her son playfully. Percy heard Paul run downstairs and waited for him to rush out after grabbing his toast and kissing Sally on the lips.

"I met this guy and he seems really nice," he paused. "You met a guy..oooooh!" Sally teased. His mother was one of the only people he had told his secret to; He was Bi. The other people being Paul and Annabeth, who both knew how to keep a secret. Percy covered his face with his hands, and continued, " We're not even friends yet, we just met yesterday and talked for literally 2 minutes before I came back home."

Sally raised an eyebrow, "So why are you so happy then?"

"He goes to the same school as me and I might meet him again today, that's all."

She paused, "Speaking of school, you should get going, you're gonna be late." Percy looked at the time, it was 8:15. it was a 10-minute walk to school and he usually liked to sit on the swings in the park for a bit. He heard his mother shout out" oooh, Percy has a crush!" as he ran out and proceeded to run to school, hoping the exercise would explain his blush, to spend a bit of time with his friends before class started. It was only when he went to school that he realized he had forgotten his phone at home and it was too late to run back and get it. If I need to call my mom, I'll just use Annabeths phone, he thought as he walked into school.

That is the second Chapter done! I think this one was really bad. Please comment if you want the next chapter to be Nicos world or Percy at school.
