Chapter 8: Dead Cheetah Walkin'

Kion and his friends were still stuck, everyone was mad but especially at Kion, how could he leave everyone betrayed by love even when the loved one was now at least evil

Simba was the most disappointed he thought that his son inherited a character that most people had learned "moving on", but Kion hadn't and Simba was determined to teach his son that lesson whether he liked it or not

"Kion, I am very disappointed in you" Simba said hoping to get Kion's attention which it did

"Dad im sorry but I can't "

"What do you mean, for most of that life you've been hanging out with that cheetah and now that she betrays you still care about her"

"Dad, Fuli cared for me so many times when we were younger, it's you that has a problem you never forgive every betrayal that comes to you, you always view as unforgivable even when Kovu and Vitani came to ask for your forgiveness you chased them away, it's you that has broken hearts not me" Kion said angrily which brought a loud silence could be heard even the guards were silent to know what the response would be but amidst the silence Kiara could agree that was some truth with what Kion had said

It took some time but answers still could not be heard that the guards decided to leave the and have a 5 minute break

No one was in the right mood to talk after what Kion said but to Simba it was like a knife stabbing him right in the heart, He knew that what Kion said was true but he could not accept it, his life as a cub was full of rivalries to the throne, Scar murdering his father and finally most of his trusted Lionesses leaving him to side with his dad's murderer

Immediately a loud crack could be heard at the wall, it surprised everyone at the cell but they shouldn't be since it meant that someone was going to rescue them

The crack eventually fell and the animals at the other side of the wall were enough to make everyone faint

"What are still doing, come on"

"Bab-I mean Kovu, what are you doing here" said Kiara but Simba seemed to hear the first words that Kiara said at began to be very suspicious of the both of them

"Don't you want to escape from this cell" said an unlikely person, he was a dark tanned Lion with a dark mane and eyes that Nala and Simba could easily remember

"How are you alive" asked Nala

"It's a long story but hurry see some cheetahs going this way"

Gradually everyone came out although they needed to widen the wall for Beshte to come out

"Is that all of you"

"No were still missing, Ono!" Bunga shouted at the sight of the egret

"Quiet down Bunga, they helped me escape now we need to run before they napture you guys again" said Ono

"Yeah because someone needed to be clouded by love" said Zuri

Although Kion was still beaten down a low growl could be heard from him as soon as Zuri uttered those words, he knew that for the past six months Zuri had had a crush on him but he expect it to be over with the both of the as a relationship with Kion and Zuri is unlikely due to her snotty behavior (no offence KionxZuri fans)

"Let's just go" he said before leading the all out

In about 30 mins, Hakari could be seen

At first when he saw the enormous break in the wall he was more surprised when he saw more footprints that usual

"Guards come here"

The guards came but they were worried at the very sight of the wall as they knew that the prisoners escaping could be a huge blow in the current War of the Pride Lands

Hakari looked at the footprints in despair, knowing that just when specifically Fuli told them not to let them escape, but they escaped

"Who did you think helped them escape" said one of the guard

"They are more than one of them but i do know one of them"

"Who"

"Kopa"

With Fuli and OzarFuli and Ozar was sitting together for a make up date and although everything was perfect outside they didn't seem right on the inside, they stayed there silent until Fuli decided to break the silence

"So why are you interested in me"

"Well you're sweet and You're the soon to be queen so if i marry you i will be king"

"I knew it, everyone except Kion only wants me because im the soon to be queen"

"You really love him don't you" said Ozar

"Yes"

"Well i can't let that happen" said Ozar

he immediately pounced on Fuli attempting to claw her to gain supremacy but Fuli was a better fighter than he thought she immediately resisted him, it took some time but Ozar finally came out on top

"Give up, it's too late accept you're destiny with me"

"I don't think she's meant for your destiny" said an animal from the darkness

"Who said that"

"Me, Kion" he said coming out of the darkness

"You!!"

He said before he struck out leaving Fuli lying on the ground helplessly Ozar punched and kicked but missed as Kion repeatedly dodged,finally Ozar gave out which gave Kion the perfect advantage and killed Ozar without flicking a muscle

"Kion were are you taking me" she said surprised at Kion instantly grabbing her
