Chapter 10: Repentant Parents

Early update!

Everyone followed the strangers up but although they didn't know who they were they were very eager to get out of the dump that they were in and besides if Ono knew who they were the they were harmless

"So how do we plan to attack" as Bunga clearly in haste

"Quiet Honey badger our leader will see you soon" said a lioness with a slim body that looked like she hadn't eaten for the past 10 days

"What's your name anyways?"

"Don't you Remember, It's me Zira" she said before she left

It took a few moments but the leader of the group could appear it was a tall darkish brown Lion with a lioness standing by his hide which would probably be his wife, the Lion and his companion came closer before standing to take a speech that would foretell the Pride lands history

"Animals my name is Kopa and this is my wife Vitani, we all know how the Pride Lands have been taken over by a group of cheetahs and the goal of this meeting is to suggest how to take back our land and bring peace before the cheetahs bring something worse than Scar even would think of, so any suggestions" Kopa said to a very vigorous audience but there was more to his history

"I think we should alert the Pride Lands because they seem oblivious to the fact that the cheetahs have taken over the kingdom and with the fact that cheetahs are the planet's best war commanders an all-out war would seem useless cos from what I heard they only need 5 cheetahs to defeat a 15 bull herd so we need to plan this secretly" said Ono

"Thanks Ono, any other ideas?"

"Yes, and I think we should take advantage in our biggest fighters one example is Kion he is our most powerful weapon but currently he is blinded by love" said Simba trying to bring a topic that he sincerely wished Kion didn't have

"Dad I don't think we should argue this now right now we should focus on something more important" Kopa said trying to divert the topic in the most respectful manner that would still show authority to his dad but unsuccessfully it didn't work as of now...

"Why should I" Simba bursted out

"Dad, enough im tired of this it's time for me to speak up"

"Let's try to stop this" Kopa said but not getting attention, he would have tried again but Nala stopped him

"Shush, son this is for the better" she said before giving him a wink

"Kion, I have had enough with your antics from now on I am cancelling your betrothal with Fuli" Simba said before he was slapped by Kion loud and hard

Kion immediately pounced on Simba and pinned him making Simba look helpless, but the more that everyone wanted to stop the current tension they knew they couldn't because what was happening was for the best

"Never you dare talk about Fuli in that tone ever again" he roared

"Infact this is was all just a waste of my time" he said before he fled

"Kion, come back here" Simba shouted before he stood up to meet a group of animals waiting for what he would say

"I just wish I could apologize to him, I know I have been too much of a no truster but Kion has to see that that is just part of life" Simba said with tears in his eyes clearly repentant on what he had told Kion just before he left

"Well at least now we know that you have to try to be a good parent to Kion" Nala said supportively

Beshte seemed to take that knowledge for himself about his own son Ekan, he promised him and never fulfilled it so now was the time to fulfill, but he never realized that this just wasn't the first time he made that promise to be there for him and he never made the time for his son and for the first time ever h realized that he wasn't such a good parent after all, both 2 parents, Simba and Beshte began too well out their tears as thy were sorry for being such ignorant parents

Kopa although being the chairman of the meeting, he came down to make this mere of an open discussion as the cave that the meeting was held was filled with tears by just 2 parents but they knew that they had to be silent if they didn't want them to be caught by the cheetahs

"But now isn't the time to be repentant let's take back the Pride lands!" Simba said sad but encouragingly

"Yeah!" everyone shouted before they all stormed out ready for a surprise attack

Flashback

"Pls don't do this" shouted Ena fearing for her life

"Why should I, you betrayed our Kingdom and probably the lives of those cubs down there, you deserve to die!" replied the masked cheetah

"Pls, why should we take land by force when we can unite with them?"

"I am not going to waste my life trying to fit in with them" he then pushed her of the cliff and left her holding nothing but the remaining piece of the cliff

"Long live my ex" he said before pushing her out of the cliff
