The hall seemed to never end as I kept walking. I could hear his loud footsteps behind me but I couldn't stop. Images kept popping up in my mind of my mom and little sister. It was a battle between my mind and my body. I was scared to death and realized I really didn’t want to die. All those times of feeling like dying and it takes something like this to realize I didn’t want to die. I wanted to live a long time and be happy and get married. All I really wanted was to be happy.

Finally, I could see a door but it had a lock on it. I got to the door and tried getting the lock off but it was impossible. This was a dead end. What am I going to do? Something caught my eye. It was a key that must be to this door.

My father was getting closer as I fumbled with the key. Finally I unlocked it and threw it on the ground. I pushed the door open and the bright sunlight shone in my eyes. It stung like being sprayed in the eyes with a hose. My vision was temporarily disabled as black spots were seen. I aimlessly started running but that turned out to be a bad idea because I ran into a brick wall. My vision was restored but then I was pushed down to the ground.

Numerous kicks to the stomach and legs were withheld. My body ached as I tried to get away. Unsuccessful, I started crawling. We were in an alley like before so there was only one way to go. I got up onto my weak legs and started running again. Cars could be seen passing by in front of me but no people. My legs were starting to give way but I forced myself to keep going. I turned to the right onto a sidewalk and ran right into a car. Struggling to keep my eyes open, as I heard sirens and people shouting. I couldn't understand any of it but the world went black.

Nialls p.o.v.

We were all sitting at Starbucks, since America doesn't have Nandos, just having a peaceful conversation until Louis mentioned Holly.

"Where do you think Holly is?" he asked. Why did he care?

"Why does it matter?" I snapped at him. Which, I probably shouldn't have done.

"Niall, she is our friend-" I cut him off with my hand as I stood up and walked out Starbucks. While walking I could hear sirens and since I'm curious I decided to go see what was happening. When I got there they were loading a girl into the back of an ambulance. There were many people around so I asked middle aged women what was going on.

"Excuse me. What happened?" the women turned towards me, she had tears running down her face.

"Th-that's my daughter." she cried out and I wrapped my arms around her into a hug. I instantly felt bad for her.

"Why did I let her go to that contest?!" she cried again. A contest?

"If you don't mind, what contest?

She let out a sob.

"It was some celebrity show. She was so excited once she found out she won but she had to convince her father. Holly cleaned the whole house for him and made sure to look presentable. Obviously he let her go. I'm pretty sure she entered that contest to get away from her life."

"Wait a second. Did you say father? The same one who-" Holly’s mom cut me off.

"No. The man who took her is her real father while my husband and I adopted her." now curiosity was taking control.

"What happened?" I felt like I needed to know more but she just shook her head.

"I can't tell you. It's Hollys story to be told and let me tell you, she has a wall built very high. So it won't be easy especially since you hurt her by telling her that she was working with her dad. I need to go to the hospital now. Good luck." and she left.

Now I feel like a freaking jerk. She wasn't lying and now she's hurt badly. I need to go get the boys! When I turned around they were all laughing and walking towards me. As soon as they saw me their expressions turned into worried ones.

"Are you okay Nia-" I cut Liam off.

"Hollys hurt! She's at the hospital!" they all looked shocked . "her mom told me." they all nodded and we called over a taxi to go to the hospital.

God I hope she will be alright.
