I heard the school bell ring, hinting that it's now time to go to our respective classrooms.

Today is the first day of school here in Exeter and some people were staring at me while I was walking with Matt and the rest of the boys.

About yesterday, the three slept over at my place that's why sabay-sabay kami ngayong apat papuntang school. We went to our classroom only to find out that our homeroom teacher wasn't there yet. I went to find an empty seat when a friend of mine, Ella, grabbed my attention.

"Clauds, dito ka na upo," she said as she pointed her fingers towards an empty seat beside her. I went to sit beside her, smiling, while the three boys went to sit behind the two of us. Actually, marami pa ang bakanteng upuan. "Marami bang late?"

She just shrugged her shoulders. "Baka kasi 'yung mga transferees, hindi pa mahanap 'yung room na 'to." she answered, more like guessed. We just carried on with our usual girl talk.

She's Ella Andrada by the way. She loves anything Korean, is a great dancer but a frustrated singer. She's also quite crafty and creative, same with Kenneth. Being blessed with lots of food her whole life, she's beyond chubby and has a noticeably strong grip. She's loud, talkative, and likes to give threats, as a friend.

Some of them were familiar faces while some are new. "Hello, pwede po ba makiupo dito?" an unfamiliar girl asked, pertaining to the seat beside me.

"Sige na, go girl." Ella replied in her usual hyper personality. She sat beside me and I introduced ourselves. "I'm Claudine, and this is Ella." I started. "Those boys at the back are Austin, Matt, and Kenneth." I added and she greeted everyone with a smile.

"I'm Hazel Aquino." she then introduced herself. From what I can see, she's quite a head turner. Sobrang ganda niya and from our small talk earlier, I can say that she's gentle, 'yung tipong hindi makabasag pinggan ba.

"Good Morning Class," said a man in his mid 20's who appears to be our homeroom teacher, as he entered the room.

Oh, now I remember. He's Mr. Homer, the face of the school. He won first place at a pageant for teachers last year, during Teacher's Day. I never got to be his student but there were rumors from the previous batch that he is a funny and outgoing one, most of the time including jokes and puns in his presentations.

Immediately, our classmates sat in their respective seats and hushed themselves, preparing for a new and fresh start this school year. The rest of the class greeted Sir a good morning as well.

Right now, we're at a room located in the Senior High School Building. When you enter the Exeter Gates, there will be three buildings greeting you.

Pakapasok, una niyong makikita is a wide landscape with a pathway in the middle leading to the Exeter Hall, a building that houses the different offices of those that have positions in our school. Located also there are general facilities such as laboratories, the library, and the likes.

On the left is the ESB, or the Exeter Student Building. Located also here is the Student Body Office where the student leaders of the school can be found. It is also home to the famous Exeter Theater Hall found at the very top floor.
