A helping hand
We all need a helping hand in this kind of situation. And I think almost everyone got their own helping hand.
A lot of people are extending help to the ones that needs it. This is one of the good things I noticed during quarantine. At times like this, there are still people with a good heart that always appears and helps whenever they are needed.
There are a lot of frontliners that are mostly volunteers, they don't even get paid for their service. They are trying to help so that the situation can be controlled. So let's appreciate them.
Doctors, nurses, and other people that are included in the medical team are giving us major help. They are the so-called modern heroes, because they really is. Imagine the struggle of working during the pandemic. They are clearly risking their lives to prioritize the health of everybody. Even with the fear in their hearts, they still took courage and help out those in need of medical help. Without them, our health will be disregarded. Without them, how can some patients recover from this serious matter?
That's why it really hurts seeing people treat them as their slaves just because they are having money or they are getting paid without even thinking that they are not even well-paid because of what's happening. And even if they will be paid, we don't have the rights to point our fingers on them when something bad happens because they are also risking their own health just for our country to survive. And they also deserve to be paid.
There's no amount of money can replace the efforts that the frontliners gave to our country. They invested everything, blood, sweat and tears for this country to recover.
There are also great leaders that never lets their people do all the work. They are monitoring the status of their community and putting a lot of efforts just to deal with the serious cases and think of possible ways so that life will be easier for everyone.
There are also the barangay tanods all over the place. Some policemen and part of the military are also doing their task to help. There are also people who volunteer for the repacking and distribution of the relief goods and also those people who donate for the needy. They are securing their people and worries for them if they still have food to eat during quarantine.
See? There are a lot of positive things we can't see because of what's happening today. But let us all salute and appreciate our dearest frontliners. Without them, our situation will only get worst.
Also remember that you can also lend a hand. Big, or small, it doesn't matter as long as it comes from your heart. Because all that matters is you tried to help others. You tried to share the blessings you are receiving from the Lord.
At this time, let us help others as long as we can without thinking about anything in return. Let this situation ignite the unity in our community.
You too can be the "helping hand" that others might need. So start today. You may be the bulb that will light up someone's life.
