Bad memories

Bad memories are the opposite of the good ones. If the good memories puts a smile on your faces, the bad memories hunts you that you can't fall asleep.

It makes you anxious and overthink about petty things. It makes you fear what lies ahead and stops you from exploring the things you can do.

Having bad memories can be seen as a burden to people. It will hurt so much until it become a scar. When the wound is fresh, all you wish is for it to heal. You always pray to heal but don't want to face the process.

There are a lot of examples of bad memories. It can be from a past relationship, from a broken friendship, death of a loved one or a pet, and other things that makes us feel regret.

Sometimes there are great days that turns into good memories that suddenly turns into bad ones. There are also called the bittersweet memories. Mostly, it was great memories with a special someone that comes to an end.

We don't know what the future holds, but atleast we tried.

There are some people that considers bittersweet memories as bad memories. But how can we all agree when we all know that it somehow made us the happiest person alive? It made us feel alive and excited at that time.

If you felt that, you are lucky. So don't wish for that to not happen again. And all the things that happens to us has it's own purpose. It happens for a reason.

This quarantine, think about the bad memories that you have. Check yourself if it still hurt. Is the wound still open? Is it still fresh? Does it hurt really bad? Or are you healing already?

Time will come that everyone will heal. You'll just find yourself not getting hurt by the exact memory that hunts you down before. That made you cry bucket of tears until you fall asleep as your eyes get tired.

Do not lose hope. That fresh wound will eventually be a scar. A beautiful scar that makes you smile and remind you how beautiful you are. How beautiful your life is. How the process of healing will change you to a better version of yourself.

The bad memories that you have, you can't just forget that. Maybe you can forget the feeling, the pain and sorrow. But you shouldn't forget the lessons it taught you. Do not waste that good memory that turns out as a bad memory without learning something from it.

When you came from a broken relationship, you can think about what happened before. Think about what are the wrong things that happened before? Learn from your mistakes.

Use the bad memories you have to learn. To make yourself a better one. You deserve to grow as a person.
