Fairy Tail: An Aqaurius Quest

Confronting My Demons, Literally

Before the seal on the letter even dried completely, Natsu swung through the window.

"Natsu!"

He thinks when I tell him to use the door that it's nothing but a polite suggestion. Happy is nestled comfortably in his arms. Oh to be a flying cat sometimes.

"Lushee!" Happy squeals.

"Go on Happy, tell her the good news," Natsu nudges him.

I sit back in my chair perplexed. Go bag ready to go on another job.

"The Exceed Squad got a job Lucy! The Queen of Edolas asked us to recruit all of the Earthland Exceeds and bring them to her to reunite us with our parents!"

"Are we going with him Natsu? Is that why you're here? Do you know how long it's going to take Lily, Charle, and Happy to find all of the Exceeds?"

"No, this job is only for the Exceeds!" Happy exclaims.

Natsu doesn't seemed thrilled about letting happy go off on his own but he doesn't badger him about it either.

"I thought maybe we could go on a ten year quest or something Luce, that way by the time we are done, so will Happy," Natsu scratches his head nervously. It'll be just us.

"Well, when Brandish started fighting me, the Celestial Spirit King let Aqaurius come and she told me her new key was out in the world? Maybe while Happy hunts for Exceeds in Ishgar, we can start looking for the key?" I suggest.

"No, I'm a member of Fairy Tail! The Exceed Squad can handle our own quest! Besides, Charle said she would teach me how to train so that I can transform like she and Lily do."

To further drive his point home, Happy flies out the window bidding Natsu a farewell.

"Stay safe Happy!"

"Aye Sir!"

Before Happy can fly three feet away, Natsu has already started rummaging through the fridge, "Geez Lucy! Where's the food? I'm hungry!"

"Natsu!" I scream at him. He's already made himself a sandwich and crammed it into his mouth.

"Where do we even start to look for her key?"

"I don't know. I was going to research her with Levy and the Southern Cross Spirit. I got her key from my mom, I don't know where she found her key."

"Wouldn't it be in water because she's a water spirit?" He asks leaning over my shoulder and peeking at my books.

"No, she told me it could be anywhere in the world. She said I might never find it. I figure we can start in Ishgar, Yukino said she would keep an eye out for any Celestial wizards out there using her key if they found her."

"So where should we look first then?" He asks.

"Water? We could go to Hargeon? Is Gray and Juvia at the guild?"

"No they went on a job together. Maybe Erza would know where to start?" He suggests.

"Erza is on a quest helping out Crime Sorciere," I answer, "I guess it'll have to be just us this time."

"Let's head to Hargeon then Luce!" He tugs my hand and drags me out of my apartment.
