Dear Mom,

Today's the day. I'm getting married. To a wizard no less. Before you died, I thought I would be a cotillian queen marrying some Duke and having a simple life.

But my life since you've died has been anything but simple. I became a Celestial Wizard just like you and joined the strongest wizard guild in Fiore.

I have so many great friends. No. Not just friends, they're my family.

I just want you to know that I'm okay. I miss you, and I wish you were here to help me into my dress like other mothers do. But I am okay.

I'm marrying Fairy Tail's Salamander. I can remember the first time I saw him. Stories of him had circulated through all of Ishgar. I pushed past the crowd and it's an imposter, wearing charms to trick all of the girls into thinking he was the real deal. But I knew Bora was a fake. Little did I know, the Salamander I was so excited to see would be my husband and my greatest ally.

Natsu is my best friend. But now he's more than that. He's my other half. My home.

It's my last night as a Heartfilia. I'm the last Heartfilia and after me there won't be any more. While Dad gave me his name, Natsu has given me so much more.

Watch over me today? I know it's not the same as you being here but, it is better than nothing. And say Hi to dad for me. I know he's up there with you.
