"Would you ever go on a blind date?" Kie asked, picking the top off her strawberry and you leaned back in your chair, thinking.
"I don't know. I would like to know who I'm going on a date with beforehand, you know?" You answered, shrugging.
"BOO!" JJ was booing you, pointing his thumb down and you sent him a glare.
"I don't even have anyone to go on a blind date with, anyways. How do you even set it up?"
Kie shrugged, popping the strawberry in her mouth without another thought towards our conversation.
"I have a friend for you," John B piped up and you raised your eyebrows.
"Really?" You questioned and John B nodded his head enthusiastically. He leaned back on the couch, resting his arm where Pope was sitting, looking equally as confused.
"You literally don't have any other friends," Pope scoffed skeptically, earning a glare from John B.
"Yes, I do, and I have the perfect person for you, y/n. You're going to love him, trust me," John B assured and I agreed to show up for the date. Beside me, JJ tensed noticeably.
"Are you absolutely sure you want to go on this date?" JJ asked. "I mean for all we know, this guy could be a total crackhead."
"He can't be that bad. Aren't you a crackhead?" You asked and JJ's mouth fell open, offended.
"We can't take J'emily anywhere," Kie whined teasingly, rolling her eyes. "Omg, J'emily, you're such a crackhead!"
"I am not a crackhead! J'emily?" JJ argued and you nodded slowly, laughing at his reaction.
"But seriously, just to be safe, give me some info about this guy," you said, seriously, turning to look at John B, leaning forwards in your seat so you didn't miss anything. John B seemed to think for a bit before he spoke up.
"Well, he's a good surfer, he probably needs therapy, and he already knows who you are," John B smiled. You nodded your head and hummed in response.

"Guess I'll be seeing him soon," you mumbled quietly.

"I have NO idea what to wear," you cry, flopping on your bed as Kie rummaged through your small closet of clothes. "I literally rotate between the same three pieces of clothing, I can't put an outfit together."
Kie turned to me, hands on her hips and she studied my physique.
"Don't worry, we can do this, now come stand next to me. I'm going to find you something that looks great and that you feel comfortable in."
You let out a sigh of relief, looking at your best friend, who was busy flipping through clothes, and smiled. She looked like she was hard at work, pulling out almost every piece of clothing you owned.
"Did John B specify how casual or formal you should dress?" Kie asked, not even turning to look at you as she inspected a blue t-shirt you had. You thought for a moment, thinking back to a couple days ago.
"He didn't really say much. He just said to make sure I looked good," you shrugged at the useless information, but Kie looked unfazed.
"Okay, that's not bad, I guess. Leave it up to John B to put this date together," she mumbled and you would've laughed, but the continuous butterflies in your stomach stopped you.
