"What do you think we should name the girls?"
Refresh.
"We were thinking something to do with flowers."
Refresh.
"How does Rose and Lily sound?"
Refresh.
"Or maybe something a little less common. Jasmine and Daisy maybe?"
Refresh.
"Then we can shorten it to Jas and Dae. Doesn't that sound simply precious? Yes? No? Hate it?"
Refresh.
"Kong?"
Refresh.
"Kong."
Refresh.
"KONG!"
"What?"
"Are you even listening to me?"
"Nope. Was I meant to?"
"Of course you are. You think I'm talking to the walls?"
"Well I have been here for three hours without saying a word and you just noticed. So I guess walls make just as good a conversation partner I presume."
"Wonder where you are learning to be such a smart ass. And what are you doing staring at your phone constantly?"
"Nothing. Nothing. I am just..."
Refresh.
Waiting to hear even a peep from Arthit. A call, a message, a voice note, something. Anything. Hell, at this point I would even take a butt dial as long as it mean his name flashing on my phone.
Refresh.
You see, it has taken my dumb, boiled peanuts of a brain four whole weeks to figure out that Arthit was avoiding me. So busy I was moping around thinking that he was a little too nonchalantly normal after our kiss. Add to the fact that he had this mysterious past with Erica had me stewing in jealousy to the point that it took me entirely too long to even figure out what the real problem was.
In my defense, Arthit was sneakily good at this whole cat and mouse game. I mean he sounded his same old grumpy self all the times I did manage to talk to him in the past month. And not being able to see him really couldn't be helped when he was sick for the first week of my doom. And right as soon as he was well enough to get out of bed he was too busy meeting his deadlines for his book. Snapping at me in his most patented way that he wasn't some rich prince like me and actually had to work to satiate his never ending dessert cravings. How could I not buy his perfectly delivered crap. I just had to wait a few days before his work pressures would die down and we would be back to our normal routine. Counting every free second until the day finally arrived.
Refresh.
But then my mum had to go and pop out my youngest pair of sisters. And as much as I already know I will love them to death, it kind of throws a wrench in my plan of racing to him every chance I get to make sure our relation is not all fucked up seeing how I was stuck at the hospital for another seven days.
Refresh.
For anyone not keeping count, we have arrived at three weeks of not being to see him even one time. And that is when the dim bulb I call brain finally started flickering on. Cause no matter what time I called him, day or night, he seemed to be in the middle of a nap, biting my head off at disturbing his slumber. Seriously, how many magical spindles had the man stuffed in his house that we was constantly needing his beauty sleep.
