You guys!!!!

I was just being whiny cause the last few days were all sick and crabby.

And I am normally great at brushing off less than polite comments but then every once in a while I can't help but feel the 'Am I really wasting my days writing Sotus fanfiction? What is wrong with me? Maybe I should be doing something more productive.'

But then I get showered with SOOO many awesome and encouraging words! I truly don't deserve such sweet readers. 😭

Can you tell I'm being uber emotional...?

Anyway on with the story

Also, you guys are seriously the best community!

"I know her!"

"I know her!"

"Sssshhhhhh.... we are trying to listen here."

Mum and I snapping our respective mouths shut as May hissed at our exclamation. My frown only deepening as I watched on the small hazy screen Arthit actually opening the door to this strange woman. Something that had taken me months to accomplish myself. Scuttling even closer to the speaker, I strained my ears to hear a conversation we were currently eavesdropping on.

"Have you spoken to those Suthilucks yet? We are running out of time here."

Six pairs of eyebrows shot right up past our hairlines with the shock of her very first sentence.

"Did she...did she just say our name? Is she talking about us?"

"Sshhhh.... please."

I barely heard another of my sister's whispering to shut me up again as my full attention kept being glued to the frankly bizarre scene that was playing out in front of me.

Why had I dismissed her "I so want to murder you right now" stare from the party at the farmhouse as just some rich snobby homophobe who happened to be associated with my parents? I hadn't even considered the fact that she might be looking at Arthit and not me. Actually thinking back it was literally the very same night the strongest man on Earth I know practically had a breakdown in my arms and yet I didn't even try to connect any dots from earlier that day.

Well, there goes my career as a detective.

Shaking my head clear of the memory I focused back on the screen. Beyond interested in hearing Arthit's side of the conversation, cause surely there was an extremely important reason why Mrs. P had us gathered here to witness this exchange.

"Nope. And you already know that, so why the fuck are you here?"

Ok, that's definitely my typical Arthit alright. Blunt, cursing, and very much to the point. But what was a little surprising was how he hadn't slammed the door shut on the woman's face, even though he quite clearly showed disdain for her on his. Actually, scratch that, I'm still amazed he answered the door in the first place when he has spent weeks running away from me.

"When are you going to do it?"

"You seriously need to get those aging ears checked. Or did your rotting brain finally fall off that you don't remember what I told you the last time, and the time before, and about a hundred times prior? I have no care or interest in your shitty business proposals with them. And god forbid even if I did, you really think multi-millionaires get to that position by going around doing favors for random nobodies? Go be better are your job instead of annoying me day and night will you?"
