Moon Flower
POV Alex
The Moon Flower was placed in a small, white room. The Moon Flower sat in the dead center, growing from the cracks in the floor. It was silver but when I looked into its middle I could see a familiar gray eye. It looked a lot like Jason’s eye.
“All you have to do is pick the flower from the stem,” said William, “ but it will be really painful.”
“That’s encouraging,” I said in a shaky but sarcastic voice.
I sat on my knees and raised my hand to the Moon Flower, slowly. I grasped my hand around the stem and felt an instant pain go up my arm. It was like an electric shock that rolled up and down my arm slowly making its way to the rest of my body. I screamed out in pain and tried to pull the flower off the stem, my hearing blurred out. Suddenly my vision gave way and I started to fall backward.

POV Jason
Alex fell backward into an awkward position, taking the Moon Flower with her. I ran to her side and put my hand on her chest.
“She’s still breathing!” I called out, I could feel the slow rising and falling of her chest. All the others ran to Alex and I started to move her into a laying position.
“We should move her to her room,” said Fee once I got Alex laying down.
“Okay, William help me please,” I said and William and I both carefully lifted Alex and carried her to her room. Once we had laid Alex on her bed Dolly made William and I leave so Dolly could change Alex.
I waited out side the room for a few minutes, when I was finally allowed back in Alex was tucked under her blankets. I pulled a chair by her bed and sat there holding her hand for three days, until I finally saw her move.
POV Alex
I could hear…someone breathing. I felt the warm blanket on top me I recognized as my own. I heard two people whispering back and forth, no arguing.
“You should eat something,” said someone who sounded like Mark.
“Not until I know she’s okay,” I heard Jason’s voice.
“You need to eat and shower and I am glad you at least changed,” sighed mark. “She might not wake up for a while.”
“She’s moving!” I heard Jason yell. I felt someone grasp my hand and I tried to open my eyes, but they wouldn’t respond.
“I heard yelling!” I heard someone run in; I recognized the voice as Dolly’s.
“She moved,” Jason said his voice full of hope. I rubbed my thumb across his hand. I felt him jump in surprise. I tried again to open my eyes this time with success.
“Hi,” Jason whispered.
“I am going to get the others!” Mark said before running out of the room.
“Hi,” I whispered to Jason and Dolly. My vision blurred again and I fell back asleep.
POV Jason
After Alex waking up Dolly convinced me to eat and sleep. I slept in my own bed while Alex had a worker sleeping in her room in case she woke up.
POV Alex
I sat up in bed; cold sweat covered my body, looking around franticly. Where the hell am I? I thought to myself. I looked around once more before realizing I was in my room, no my room at home. The familiar bright orange wall and purple rug, I slide from my bed and started toward my door. I opened it and started down the hallway, I stopped at the mirror. I didn’t remember a mirror being in my hallway. I looked at myself, my long blonde waves, my beetle black eyes and my… fangs. A figure appeared in the mirror behind my. It was Blaze, be stared at me for a minute before I turned around.
“Where’s Jason?” I asked, my voice seemed distant.
“You left him remember?” he replied. “You left him for me to kill.”
The scene shifted; I was in the white room again. The Moon Flower wilted and dead. Jason lay limp beside it, unmoving. I ran to him, his eyes were closed as if he were asleep but blood stained the floor.
I sat up in bed; cold sweat covered my body, looking around franticly. Where the hell am I? I thought to myself. I looked around once more before realizing I was in my room at the manor house. It was only a dream, a dream that shook me to the core. I noticed a cot bed sitting in the corner. Someone was asleep in the cot, probably a worker looking after me. I slide from my bed and started toward the door, thinking the worker was asleep but she wasn’t. She sat up in bed and looked at me.
“Back in bed” she said. “It’s three in the morning.”
“I have been sleeping for days!” I yelled at her.
“Then go read.” She said in a stern voice. “I am not allowed to let you out till morning.”
I sighed and crawled back into bed.
