TW: panic attack, self h*rm scars and s*icide note, please be careful!

-Evan's POV-

I was twirling the pencil in my hand as I reread the note sitting on my desk. It was one of those dumb letters I had to write to myself everyday. It's new but it's not that awful. It's pretty pointless and I don't see how it's helping.

I thought about adding on a few lines, and groaned. I ran my fingers through my hair and closed my eyes tightly.

Weeks slowly melted into months as The Connor Project carried on, gaining more people and followers. Jared kept trying to tell me to cancel it before it got too much but people were actually liking what I was saying...and I didn't exactly want that to stop.

I mean...I loved the guy but this was finally going to be my moment! I was becoming popular, people were beginning to actually start paying attention to me! It was amazing! And I wasn't going to give it up just because of him...

And it's easy for him to say! He already had the whole school wrapped around his finger.

-Jared's POV-

God he was so absorbed in the stupid fundraiser now. What the hell?! This is almost the exact opposite of what he was supposed to do! This wasn't supposed to be for the fame! It was to help "Connor".

God why was he so selfish?! He was supposed to stay here with me! And Zoe! Now he doesn't even see me. I see all the popular kids crowded around him talking to him and I can't help but feel...sad. He just used me, and left me behind.

I now was looking at Alana who was now dealing with half the work. Evan had the other half, most of the other half which was fair.

I knew deep down he hated all the attention and probably cried when he got home. I felt bad, but it was his choice to do it. I knew it was overwhelming for both of them, so I decided not to bother any of them.

I went to Zoe's house (I found the address from Evan) and knocked. When she answered, she looked surprised.

"What the hell are you doing here, Kleiman?!"

"I have no one else to hang out with."

"So I'm just a last resort?"

"Yeah- wait no!"

"Gee thanks-"

"Look can you just let me in?" I said. She crossed her arms and leaned on the doorframe. "Please?" "Ugh. Fine." She said reluctantly. I stepped in and the Murphy's were like...filthy rich. Like their house was huge.

She lead me to her room and she sat down on her office chair. "Alright. What do you want?" She asked looking...shocked. Like moments before she had seen, or heard something that left her speechless.

"What's up with you why are you so weird right now?" I asked trying to see what the hell was wrong with her. She didn't answer at first. "Zoe?" "Evan came out to me. Over the phone." She said smoothly. She didn't make eye contact with me.

I didn't know what to say either. I mean, I always made jokes about it but I never thought it'd ever actually happen. "As...?" "Bisexual." "Oh..."

Again. It shocked me.

I quietly sat there not know if to speak or not.

-Evan's POV-
~a few minutes earlier~

I picked up my phone with my hands shaking. I felt my palms begin to sweat too. I pressed the icon that read "ZOE" in bold letters and watched the screen go black for a few seconds before going grey with the caller ID ringing.
