As Jeongguk opens the front door he's greeted by a smiling Taehyung. The elder walks over to him with a tired Chansol in his arms.

It's nearly Chansol's bedtime already as Jeongguk has spent the entire afternoon at his parents' house.

"Look Channie, who's back!" Taehyung tells his son who tiredly looks over to Jeongguk.

"Hi honey. Missed you. I hope you were nice to your daddy." Jeongguk coos, stroking the baby's soft hair.

The boy giggles a bit, making Jeongguk's and Taehyung's heart swell. "He was an angel." the elder answers, looking at his son in awe.

Chansol still needs to eat before he can go to bed, so they move over to the living room to feed him.

"What were the important news your brother wanted to tell you?" Taehyung asks as they both sit down on the couch.

Jeongguk watches how Taehyung starts to feed the boy before he looks up to the elder again who's already staring back at him questioningly.

"He told me that he's going to marry in five months." Jeongguk answers with a proud expression. "I mean it was just a matter of time because they're together for about four years now but I totally didn't expect it to be now. I'm so happy for them."

"That's nice to hear." Taehyung smiles. "Your brother is older than you, right?"

Jeongguk nods, "Yup. And so is his boyfriend. I'm kinda used to being the youngest everywhere now." Jeongguk laughs.

Taehyung furrows his eybrows. "Wait- boyfriend?"

"Yeah, my brother's gay. I don't know how my parents managed to get two gay sons."

Taehyung chuckles at that. "But it's nice to hear that they accept it." he adds, more serious now. "It's sad that so many people are still homophobic."

Jeongguk nods at that. "Yeah"

"I'm bi. My parents know it and luckily, they don't mind. But I nearly died out of nervousness before I told them." Taehyung tells him, an amused expression on his face.

Jeongguk lets out a chuckle. "I also was really nervous. But my parents weren't suprised nor shocked. More like they kinda expected it already. So all the worry for nothing."

"That's good to hear. My parents were shocked at first. My mom could accept it faster than my dad. He needed a few days but this is completely alright. He never said something mean, he just told me he needed a bit time. And now, they both accept me."

"We really have great parents huh?"

"Oh yeah we have." Taehyung agrees, smiling at the younger.

And Jeongguk just can't get used to seeing the elder smile so genuinely. Since Taehyung accepted Chansol, it seems like he's a lot happier.

"You're beautiful, do you know that?" Taehyung suddenly says, causing Jeongguk to snap out of his thoughts.

But to the younger's surprise Taehyung isn't looking at his son like Jeongguk expected him to, no he's looking at Jeongguk.

The younger locks eyes with Taehyung, feeling his own face go red like a tomato at the compliment.

"Th-thank you." Jeongguk speaks flustered, hating himself for stuttering. Why does he have to be so embarrassing?

Before they could continue their slightly awkward talk, Chansol finishes his bottle, making Jeongguk sigh in relief. The baby really saved him.

Taehyung gets up to bring the bottle to the sink as Jeongguk stays seated on the couch.

What was that? Had Taehyung really just told him that he is beautiful? Right after they talked about their sexuality?

Jeongguk touches his cheeks that are still too hot, signaling him that he's still red. This one sentence from Taehyung just confused him so much.

Why? Jeongguk can't understand it. Maybe it doesn't mean anything for Taehyung. Maybe he tells this many people.

But for Jeongguk, god no. He can't help thinking too much into it. He always does and that's his problem. Just like his brother said - he'll get hurt again.

But still, there's this spark of hope, that tells him that there's a possibility of Taehyung loving him back. And perhaps, some time in the future, Jeongguk will have the courage to confess his feelings.

"Uhm Jeongguk?"

Suddenly Taehyung's voice beams from the kitchen, causing the younger to look over to see Taehyung. But Jeongguk sits on the wrong side of the couch to be able to see the elder from here.

"Hmm? What is it?"

"I think Chansol just pooped." Taehyung's strained voice can be heard again. "At least it smells like that."

Jeongguk chuckles as he gets up to take a look at the "problem." As he reaches the kitchen and can finally see Taehyung he can't help but laugh.

The elder's holding Chansol far from his body, on his face a disgusted expression. "Yah don't laugh! This stinks like crazy."

Jeongguk takes the oblivious little boy out of his father's arms into his own.

"Let's get you a new diaper hm? Your daddy's a bit finicky. Let's save him, shall we?" Jeongguk baby-talks with amusement written all over his face.

"Who could have known that this could smell so bad? I mean he's so small- how- how can he produce something like that?" Taehyung rambles as he follows Jeongguk upstairs to Chansol's room.

"Your daddy's a little drama queen huh? Who would have thought that?" Jeongguk laughs while he lies Chansol down and starts to undress him.

"Drama queen? Please, can't you smell that it's-" Taehyung starts again, only to be interrupted by his own son's laughter.

Jeongguk looks over to Taehyung with a big grin on his face. "Oh, seems like someone agrees with me."

Taehyung gasps in disbelief. "I can't believe it! You two- you conspired against me."

Jeongguk only has to laugh harder and Chansol joins him with his cute baby giggles.

"Can't you smell it? I can't believe it! I'm surrounded by traitors. I-" Taehyung continues but stops with an unbelieving look on his face.

"I've never seen him laugh this hard." The elder states, looking at his son in disbelief.

"Me neither." Jeongguk agrees, wiping his tears from laughing too much. "He probably has to laugh at his dramatic father. He'll probably always poop when he's with you just to see your reaction."

Taehyung widens his eyes in pure shock, stepping closer to his son, obviously forgetting about the smelly poop in the boy's diaper. "You wouldn't do that, little man, right?" he asks hopefully, causing Jeongguk to snort.

"You wouldn't- god this stink is not bearable." Taehyung shreaks as backs away from his son again.

"Just go downstairs, I'll finish here." Jeongguk chuckles. The elder follows immediately, leaving the room in the blink of an eye.

Jeongguk shakes his head with a laugh. "I would have never thought that he could act like that." He leans down to the baby with a mischievous grin, "So just remember, if he ever annoys you, you know what you have to do right?"

Just like he has understood him, Chansol starts to giggle again, making Jeongguk smile proudly.
