EPILOGUE

1 year and a half later...

Jeongguk takes a deep breath of the fresh air as he focuses on the sound of the waves that splash over his feet, wetting them.

But he didn't mind, he learned to love the sea even though he's only been here for about two weeks.

He loved to just stand there and watch the waves and listen to the calming sound of the water. He has to tell Taehyung that they need to come back here as soon as possible.

It was Jin's idea to come here though. He and Namjoon had suggested to give their mother a "family-holiday" for her birthday.

Everybody agreed on it immediately and now they are here, enjoying their days off. They've rented small bungalos, three in total. One for Namjoon and Jin, one for mama and papa Jeon and one for Taehyung, Chansol and Jeongguk.

They are having a great time here, far away from all the worries and stress in their daily life at home.

Over the last year, Taehyung and Jeongguk's family grew really close so that the younger often wonders if they love Taehyung more than him. Not that he would mind, he loves to see that they get along well.

Jeongguk lets his gaze wander to the small boy in the sand. He smiles as he watches Chansol play with the grains happily.

Yes, Jeongguk is happy. How could he not? He and Taehyung have a good and healthy relationship. They love each other like on day one.

Of course, there are arguments where they scream at each other and don't talk for a few hours, but at the end of the day they always come back to each other.

They always talk with each other and that's the key to their relationship. Communication.

They both know that they can rely on each other and always talk about the things that are bothering them.

And Chansol is a real sunshine. He's a happy child, getting lots of love and time from his parents.

Even though Taehyung still has to work a lot in the company, he always loves to come home and spend time with his loved ones. And on the weekends, the three often make trips in order to spend time together.

Jeongguk still has his job, and he grew to love it a lot. And even there, Chansol is loved by all his colleagues and the comstumers.

The boy has grown so much, he's able to walk now and he's eager to learn to speak even though some words don't come out the way he wants them to - but that's okay.

Jeongguk just can't believe that this is the small bean that he got to know all this time ago. He had to carry him around all the time and now he's walking around by himself.

"Papa?" Chansol gets up from the ground and runs over to Jeongguk, his hand holding something in the air.

"Yeah honey, what is it?" Jeongguk smiles as he crouches down to his son.

Chansol giggles cutely as he shows him a beautiful shell that he's found in the sand. "Look!" he exclaims with such a proud expression that it warms Jeongguk's heart.

"For papa." he smiles while giving it to Jeongguk.

"Thanks honey! It's beautiful!" Jeongguk says, pecking the little boy on the cheek before he lifts him up and gets up again.

Chansol immediately snuggles into the crook of his neck, his hand holding onto the collar of Jeongguk's shirt. That's a habit he has since he was really small. Jeongguk has to admit that he really loves this gesture.

Yes, sometimes he can't really believe his own luck. He clearly remembers the first time Chansol called him papa. He needed all of his self-control not to break out in tears because of it.
