Stampede

I finally got to where I was headed. There was two cars flipped over, and one was just destroyed. I jumped off the wheeler towards the cars. I opened up the doors. There was two people inside unconscious, and there was a baby crying in the back. "Hey!!! Are you ok?" The guy woke up. His eyes snapped opened. "My daughter!" He yelled. I grabbed her. He got out and hugged her. The woman woke up. "What happened here?" I asked them. The woman got out. "It happened so fast, it was like a bunch of army tanks just went right through traffic, but it wasn't an army tank." He said. I helped the others out of the second car, then I ran over to the third car, that was literally destroyed. There was a man in the car, and he was gone. I turned away almost gagging. The man walked over. "Call 911!" He yelled. Then the ground shook. "There's the cue." I said frowning. "Get on the wheeler!" I told them. They jumped on, and I started it. I turned around. It was a massive horde of dinosaurs. I hit the gas, and we sped off. The horde started gaining on us. I pushed the gas harder. I seen McDonald's again. I drove into the parking lot as the dinosaurs passed. Samantha and Natalie came out with their mouthes wide open. "Awesome!" Samantha yelled. I dropped the family off. "You guys be safe, and a quick tip, if you see a Tyrannosaurus, don't run, you run you're dead." I said. "Tyrannosaurus!?!" The man said with wide eyes. "Yeah I know." I said. "Nice to meet y'all!" I said driving away. Jeffrey screeched. I laughed. "In the darkest times, you can always light it up." I said to the little velociraptor.

I we got to the Military base. All of the kids were standing there. I drove up and parked the wheeler. "What up." I said with my hat on backwards again. They all laughed as I handed the bag to the kids. I got down and walked over to the truck and sat down. "Me and Jeffrey survived a stampede." I said. "Of what? Bison?" Tom said laughing to himself. I stared at him. "Oh right, dinosaurs." He said. I unwrapped my sandwich and went to take a bite, when I saw Isaiah with no food. I walked over and handed the sandwich to him. "That's yours, you eat it." He said. "Hey, no camper left behind." I said chuckling. I walked to the doorway and sat down. Mary and Tom joined me. "So, Mary, I hear you like Lucas." I said cracking up. "Ooooh." Tom said. "Why are you talking like that?" Mary asked. "Liike whaat?" He asked in a weird tone. "Like a sassy ghost." She said. I laughed. She sighed. "Ok, yeah, I like him a little bit." She said. Her face turned bright red. "Hmmm, a little bit ay." I said. Beth and Lucas walked over. "What you guys talking bout?" Lucas asked. "Oh nothing, just asking Mary here if she has a bit of a crush on you." I said. Lucas's face got bright red. "Well, a little birdie told me that you have a crush on Beth." He said loudly. "Oh, ho ho ho!" Mary said laughing. "What? Really Lucas?" I said. Beth and Lucas started laughing. "Well, maybe a little." I said. "Ooooh." Tom said again in the sassy ghost tone. The door opened behind us. "Logan, you might wanna see this." Isaiah said. I walked into the dark room. The satellite feed caught something. I stared at it. "Is it just me, or is that thing massively bigger." Tom asked. "That thing is over two times the size of a Rex." Mary said. I looked at General Joseph. "Did the Ginkgo come yet?" I asked. "It'll be here in an hour." He said. "Well, lets get ready to hunt The Matriarch." James Travis said. I smiled and walked outside.
