Mama Pteranodon

We got into the truck. The army men were firing at us as we drove away. Then they stopped and looked up. A massive shadow flew across the sky, then dive bombed the one of the men, picking him up and dropping him from like twenty feet. He hit the ground with a thud and a snap. The others grabbed him and they all went into the building. "What the bloody hell is that?" James Beavers asked. Then it landed on the roof of the van and pierced right through it with it's beak. "Oh, right, pteranodon." He said. "Drive faster!" Mary yelled. "I'm trying! I can't lose it!" He said turning the steering wheel. Just then as he turned, the Pteranodon T-Boned the van and sent it flying sideways. "Ouch..." Lucas said rubbing his head. We got out and the Pteranodon was standing right outside. It squawked loudly. I ducked down. "Kat do you have Spectre?" She pulled him out of her coat. "You need to send him to his mother." I said. "What? No!" She said tearing up. "The only way we get out of this is if you hand over the baby." Tom said. She wiped a tear away. "Ok." She said stepping outside. The Pteranodon squawked, and Spectre called back. Kat set Spectre down. They looked at each other and flew off. "Just like that? Huh, I expected something epic to happen." Beth said sarcastically. "Ok where do we go now? The van is trashed." Tom asked. "Maybe we could just walk..." I said. "Aaaaaawwwwww!!!" Everyone groaned. "For now." I said. "Let's get going.
