Meeting Up With Old Friends

I closed my eyes as the car was hurling through the air. Mary started screaming. We hit the water with a massive splash, then that's when the car started to sink. I shook my head. I turned to look at Mary. She was unconscious. "Of course! Really? Right now?" I thought trying to think of what to do. I grabbed ahold of Mary and opened the Jeep door. Water flooded in the vehicle and it started to sink faster. I tried to pull her out. Her leg was caught on the seatbelt. The weight of the car kept pulling me down as I was trying to get her unstuck. I was just almost out of air, when I looked up, and there was a person coming down to help. They pulled out a razor and cut the seatbelt. I swam to the top as fast as I could. I jumped out of the water gasping for air. My lungs had felt almost as if they were going to explode. I pulled my arm up and Mary came out. I dragged her and myself on shore. I flopped over. I heard Mary cough and throw up water. "Are you guys ok?" Said a familiar voice. I sat up. "Beth?" I asked. "Logan!?!" She asked as well. "Wait what are you doing here?" I asked her standing up. Mary stood up after me, then coughed. "My family and I are on a double family vacation for the week." Beth answered. "Don't forget me!" My friend Lucas said. "Lucas!" I said giving him a fist bump. "Wait how do you guys know each other?" Mary asked confused. "From a little camp not far from where I live." I answered her. "Who's this I see here." Lucas asked looking at Mary. "This is Mary. We met at Camp Cretaceous a couple years back." I said. "Yeah you, surviving Camp Cretaceous. Yeah, ok." Lucas said laughing sarcastically. "He still doesn't believe that I was one of the people that survived the fall of Jurassic World." I said to Mary.  So what was with you guys, and that Jeep, that is now at the bottom of the lake?" Beth asked. "You guys aren't gonna believe us, but we were being chased by a super-hybrid, decked out looking dinosaur." Lucas and Beth looked at each other. They started busting out laughing. "You seriously think we're gonna believe that?" Lucas said wiping his eyes. "I can." Beth said looking behind Lucas with mouth wide open. "Lucas, don't move." Mary said. "What is there a spider on me?" He said wiping his shirt as if he was trying to swat a bug. "Oh let me guess, there's a dinosaur behind me? I'll electrify him cause I'm Darth Sideous!" He said doing the Darth Sideous impression. "You guys are really trying to sell this huh? Well..." he stopped. The ground shook. He turned around. His mouth dropped as well. There was a Tyrannosaurus, standing less than forty feet from him. It was starring right at him. He didn't move a muscle. The T-Rex just shook its head, then looked back at him. It roared angerly. "Run!!!" I yelled.
