Road trip pt.2

Courtney's POV:
Ah, finally, we arrived in San Jose.
"Shayne! Shayne, wake up!" I said as I shake Shayne.
"I'm up! I'm up! What?" He said
"We're here!" I said
He looks out of his window and smile.
"We're going straight to the hotel, so we can settle down, " I said
"Okay, " he said
After that, we drive to our hotel with the help of GPS. We arrived at San Jose Marriott. We parked the car and went inside the building. We were greeted by the receptionist.
"Hi, we would like a room, please," Shayne said
"The only room available is room 55, it only has one bed, good for couples like you," the receptionists said
"Oh, we're not a couple," I said
I looked at Shayne
"So, are we taking it? It only has one bed." I whispered
"We can share the bed. Let's just take it." He whispered
"We're taking it, " he said to the receptionist.
The receptionist hands us the key, we took our bags and went to our room. As we opened the door, we immediately saw a wide bed.
"The room is quite neat, " he remarks
"Yeah, and it's not that expensive too, " I said
We put our bags down. I jumped to the bed, Shayne follows.
"The bed is comfy!"  I said
"I know right," he said
"Do you want to shower and get dinner after, or get dinner first?" He asked
"Dinner first," I replied
"Okay, " he said
We stand up and took our wallets, and went out to find a good place to eat. We decided to at Original Joe's San Jose. The food there is delicious. After we ate, we went back to the hotel.
"That was so good!" Shayne said
"Yeah, we should go here for no reason, sometimes," I said
"Yeah, we should." He said.
"Shayne, I need to shower, is that alright?" I asked
"Yeah, go ahead and take your time." He replied
"Thanks, " I took everything I needed and went straight inside the bathroom.
Shayne's POV:
I can't believe that I'm sharing a bed with Courtney. Fate is so good to me right now. I stand up and prepared my things so that when Courtney gets out of the bathroom, I'm already prepared.
After 20 minutes, she steps out of the bathroom. She was in her pajamas.
"It's your turn, Topp, " she said
"No peeking!" I said jokingly
"Eww!" She said
I just laughed. I entered the bathroom.
I turned the shower on. I took my shirt off, and so on and so forth. After that, I felt the water touch my skin.
I rub in some soap, to clean myself.
I rinse it all away. I turned the shower off, and I dried myself. After that, I put some clothes on and went to the sink to brush my teeth and comb my hair. After that, I stepped out of the bathroom. I see Courtney sitting on the bed, on her phone, probably looking through Twitter. I sat next to her and took my phone from my bag.
"Hey, " She said
"Hey, " I replied
"Is a walk-in alright with these sleep doctors?" She asked
"Maybe, let's see about that tomorrow, " I replied
"And if we can't come home on Monday, we can call Ian and let him know about our situation," I added
"Okay, " she replied
*Ring!Ring!*
"Olivia is face-timing me!" Courtney said
"Okay, I'll stay silent," I said
"Hello, liv!" She greeted Olivia.
"Hey, Court, where are you?" Olivia asked
"In my apartment, why?" Courtney lied
"I thought that you were somewhere else. Are you busy?" Olivia said
"Yeah, I'm busy. Why?" Courtney said
"Oh, never mind. Just checking on you bby! Bye!" Olivia said
"Okay, bye!" Courtney said.
The face time ended.
"Woah, that was close, " she said as she sighs in relief.
"We can let others know because they'll think that we're secretly dating, " I said
"Yup, we'll probably lose our jobs, " she said.
She turns her phone off and laid down on the bed.
"I'll be sleeping now, good night, Shayne, " she said
"I'm sleeping too, good night, Courtney. Sweet dreams!" I said
"Yeah, you too..." She said. We turned the lights off and slowly drifted off to sleep.
