Jamal felt somehow. He could not exactly place his finger on it, but he knew he felt-lightheaded and weird-ish. Like his heart has been warmed up by a missing kind of attention-a void. Never in his life has anyone acknowledged his own taste of music. They always presumed;

"Jamal the rapper,"

"Rapping is his calling,"

"Jamal is living the big life,"

"Oh, how it feels to be a celebrity..." and all kind of blabs.

He always felt sick, frustrated, angry, down-spirited, even depressed at times that his whole life has to be dictated for him. Yes he loves music, but he didn't sign up for all the troubles that would accompany it especially when his Uncle took matters in his own hands when he clocked thirteen.

"Goddamn uncle." He muttered under his breath as he typed on his phone furiously.

But today, somebody cared about his inner taste of music-someone listened to his passion about music and that same someone gave him hope that, you should not judge a book by its cover. Even when he was with Lizzy, she didn't give a flying fuck about his music career.

"Boss!" The bodyguard sitting at the passenger's seat of the car, calls the young lad's attention.
Jamal groans, raises his head up towards the roof of the car as if asking God who he offended before he faces Pedro squarely.

"I've told you to call me JAMAL. Jamal is my name! Get that into your sick damnated brain for fucks sake!" He seethed in frustration which made the chauffeur who was driving, to take a quick glance at him in worry. The chauffeur and Pedro, are already used to Jamal's attitude by now. Pedro gave him an apologetic smile before speaking again.
