They had got the call around 11pm. They answered the phone and it was someone claiming they had Keni Rhodes in their back room at the gas station 30 minutes from where they were.
They all piled into the same two cars as before and took off. They had to take this seriously even though none of them thought it was legit, they had already checked out twenty fake calls reporting that someone had seen Keni. It took about twenty minutes to get there because of Morgan's crazy driving.
They all got out of the cars and walked into the gas station. Hitch held up his badge to the worker "FBI, we got a call saying you had our victim in the back of your store?." He spoke in a very deep monotoned voice as usual. The worker quickly stood up from his stool and motioned for them to follow. "she came running in here all beat up about forty minutes ago or so, yelling about being kidnapped and that her name was Keni and stuff."
The man was older, fifties or sixties maybe, his hair was dark brown with some gray spots and he had a thick country accent.
The team followed the man down a back hall and into a room that had 'employees only' stamped on the door. "Here she is." He spoke as he swung the door open revealing a very dirty and beaten up looking girl.
She had a jacket around her shoulders covering her barely clothed, skinny body. Her head snapped up as the door came open, she looked scared then relieved once she saw the police. Spencer quickly walked forward and bent down to her level. "I'm Spencer Reid, I'm with the FBI, were here to help you." He stood up and held his hand out to her which she took timidly.
He gently helped her stand up and replaced the jacket with a blanket he was holding for her. He walked her out of the gas station with JJ and Rossi and to the ambulance that was now parked in front of the building. She was quiet and walking very close to Spencer, almost scared that she'd be taken again if she let him go.
Spencer helped her sit up onto the ledge of the ambulance so the paramedics could check her out and make sure she was ok. Finally her small voice whispered out as Reid let her hand go, "p-please stay with me.."
His head turned to look at the girl. She was scared, she didn't feel safe and she wanted him to stay with her, him, not Morgan or Rossi like their victims usually picked. He nodded and stood there while she got her check up.
