She shifted, her head throbbing as she pushed herself up off the small uncomfortable bed. She rubbed her eyes and looked around, white. White walls, white sheets, blankets, and pillows on the small twin bed, and white tile floors.
As panic set in she shot up praying this was a sick joke. She frantically looked around the room for a door, or a window, or air vent, anything she could use. Nothing.
No door, only a small narrow window that was completely out of reach. She slid to the ground and put her head in her hands as the tears started pouring down. This couldn't be happening, she was getting help, she was serious about getting better, so why is this happening to her?
"Don't cry darling, you're safe with me." A deep husky voice boomed through the speakers placed in the top corner of the room. Her head snapped up to the sound of the unfamiliar voice coming from the speakers.
He had a smirk placed across his thin lips, his skin icy white, almost albino. He looked at her shaking, curled up frame from a camera placed on top of the TV in the top corner of the room. He ran a hand through his long blonde hair as his almost black eyes stared at her evilly.
She said nothing and made no sound as the tears poured down. She had seen this man so many times in the last year but didn't think anything of it. I mean, it's Florida, she assumed they lived in the same city and he was always out and about. Guess she was wrong.
"Come on sweet Keni, talk to me please." He fake begged already knowing she wasn't gonna say a word. He scuffed before speaking again. "There's a way out of that room. You have 2 hours to find it, if you don't in that time.." he said nothing more before clicking off making his face disappear from her view.
She shoot up and looked around, hoping her eyes would catch something. She ran her hands along the wall where she could reach to feel for anything at all. Frantically crying and praying to get out soon.
