Emma
Ethan got to Alyssa's house for weekly game night with our friends, and I was in the kitchen. Ethan had pizza duty this week, which meant it was his turn to buy pizza for everyone.
Everyone else was in the living room, so I snuck a hug and a quick kiss from Ethan. They still didn't know about us yet.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pecked my cheek as I laughed. "Miss me or something."
"Or something." Ethan teased. "But I'll fix that later." He said, whispering the last part before he pulled away from me.
We opened up the pizza boxes, and set out plates so that everyone could grab their pizza as they pleased.
A few minutes later, all of us were sitting on the living room floor with our pizza and soda, and we were all having a good time just talking and playing some card games.
I glanced over at Ethan, who was sitting next to Grayson, and he winked at me. I smiled. He's so cute.
It was a little while later when I went back to the kitchen for another piece of pizza. Sure enough, about a minute later Ethan came into the kitchen too.
"Hey." He said.
"Hey, what's up?"
Ethan caught me by surprise by pressing his lips to mine, and pulling me closer. I didn't even care that our friends could find out anymore.
I could've screamed it to the whole world at this point. I am falling in love with Ethan Dolan.
It wasn't until the end of the night when Grayson was helping me clean up the pizza.
"So, you and Ethan?"
"Huh?"
"Emma, he's my twin. I can tell when he's drooling over a girl."
I laughed. "Yeah. I guess."
"Finally." Grayson said. "About time."
"What, you were waiting for us to happen or something?"
Grayson scoffed. "Emma, Emma, Emma. You and Ethan make so much sense that you don't even realize it."
"We do?"
"I mean, yeah. You get along great. You're best friends, and I don't know. You just seem good for each other. I can tell he really likes you."
"He really is my best friend, and I really want it to work out. He's really the only person I can imagine being with at this point."
"Here's what I think." Grayson said. "I think you're the only woman that Ethan can tolerate being alone with for more than an hour, so you don't have much competition."
I smiled. "It's okay. I'd kick another girl's ass if I had to."
Grayson laughed. "That's true."
Ethan walked into the kitchen, where Grayson and I were finally done with cleaning up.
"What's so funny?" He asked. He wasn't mad, but it was a genuine question.
"Emma talking about kicking another girl's ass if she had to."
"Emma could be like an MMA fighter or something." Ethan said. "Damn, that would be hot."
I think Ethan's twinstinct knew that Grayson had us figured out.
I laughed. "Shut up, Ethan."
He shrugged. "It's just the truth."
-
Ethan's hands slipped under my shirt and played with my breasts as soon as my back hit my couch.
We had just gotten back to my place after that game night, and after Ethan's hand placement in the car, I was in dire need of him.
We were in a new phase where we were doing it everywhere in my apartment.
Olivia had moved out a little while ago to live with Adam, so Ethan and I were enjoying our new privacy.
He was basically living here. And it was nice. I enjoyed it when he stayed over.
Plus it's not like I wanted Grayson hearing me scream Ethan's name through the thin walls of their apartment, so we came to my place instead.
This way Ethan could make me scream until I lost my voice, and nobody would mind.
For some reason, I still wasn't getting pregnant. I read that some women take a few months, or even years, and I was starting to get jealous of the women that get pregnant on accident.
It had been nearly a month and a half, yet we still weren't getting the results that we wanted on the pregnancy tests.
Ethan was staying positive. Giving me compliments at random, and telling me that it's okay, and that we'll keep trying.
That night, Ethan worked me until I couldn't stay awake. It's crazy how such a good person can do such bad things to you.
I loved it.
Ethan was the most attractive person I ever knew. His dark hair was the softest I'd ever felt.
His eyes were the most intense shade of hazel. If hazel could be intense.
With Ethan it definitely could.
His abs were sharp to the touch, his skin was slight shade of tan, and Ethan simply knew how to make a girl feel incredible.
With Ethan, every time felt like the first. Every kiss, every time he fucked me, and every time he simply put his arms around me.
He had this magical way of making everything feel so normal, yet so brand new. I found myself thinking about him all the time when I wasn't with him.
When I was at work, grocery shopping, or simply running errands, I found myself looking forward to getting home that night so Ethan could come over.
Our friends all figured out that we were together, but it was about time to tell them anyway.
I realized how hard I was falling for my best friend, and there wasn't a way to get back from the top. Once you start, you can't go back.
I didn't want to go back.
Another month went by, and well, all of the pregnancy tests were still coming up negative. I didn't understand because we were doing everything right.
I cut out alcohol, and started exercising more. Ethan and I both started eating healthier, but it still wasn't working.
I started to get stressed about it, but Ethan was still super supportive about everything.
Either we were doing something wrong, or my body simply wasn't able to make a baby.
