"Interesting, truly. Now stop staring at me, I know you find me irresistible but your gaping like a fish, it's embarrassing."

"Blaise, are you going to the Quidditch match later on?" I slid into the empty space next to where he sat on the deep green couch.

The common room seemed smaller this afternoon, with only a few students littered around.

Blaise gave be a sideways look.

"Not like that." I clarified, remembering he had told me he had a crush on a girl in Ravenclaw.

"Most likely. I have plans to meet someone there." Blaise blushed slightly and smiled. "You can't tell anyone, if word gets out to anyone that I'm seeing a muggle born."

Blaise shuddered.

I knew who he was talking about and frowned, "I won't say anything to anyone, promise."

"Thank you. I'm glad your my friend, you're one of the few people here who treats me like an equal." He was smiled.

Well I guess I had one more friend than I thought.

"You two are official?" I teased, moving my eyebrows up and down.

He smiled and looked at the fire place.

"Hopefully after the game we will be." He said in awe, clearly very excited.

I was happy for him, this was great news. I also was really honored that he decided to tell me of all people.

"I'm sending you good luck, lover boy." I smiled softly.

In the corner of the room I saw a girl sitting at one of the tables, with three books on it. She looked stressed and kept re writing the same thing on a piece of paper than scribbling it out. I winced, glad I finished my homework earlier.

"Why do you ask?" Blaises voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Pardon?" I mumbled, "Oh! Right, I was just asking because I was thinking about going with some friends or a friend I suppose."

Blaise seemed to sense I wasn't being completely honest, "Go on."

"I made a new friend today and they're going to be there." I shrugged, it really wasn't a big deal. It was just nice to have friends.

"Does this guy have a name?" He continued, facing me. He paused, "Or girl, I don't judge."

I smiled at that last part. "Something I should know?"

He winked, keeping it a secret for now. There was a story I definitely wanted to find out about later.

Good for him, I smiled again.

"Anyway, his name is Cedric Diggory. But again, he's just my friend." I emphasized the he part and took in a breath.

"Right, no I get it. Friends." He got off the couch with a smirk on his face, "I'll see you around Eden. Talk to you later."

"We really are just friends!" I called to him as he left, I saw him turn around and shrug.

"Who?" Draco asked, appearing out of this air as usual.

"Oh what a shock! It's Draco Malfoy. Come to see the show?" I spoke with annoyance. "Bloody hell stop following me."

He let out a low laugh and leaned against the door frame to the boys room, his blonde hair falling over his eyes slightly. I chose to ignore the feeling in my stomach.
