"Ginny, I'm so proud of you. You are so brave." Molly beamed, still hugging her daughter tight. "This is wonderful news!"

"Darling," Mrs. Weasley said to Fred while pointing to a box full of multicolored string lights. "Could you hand up those wreaths out front by the door. There is no need for them in the kitchen."

Ron looked up with a frustrated sigh and nodded, "On the door then, Mum?"

The wreath in his hands looked homemade and very worn. They looked as if they've been used every holiday since the twins were young.

I took a look around and breathed in the smell of cookies. It was a heartwarming sight to see the burrow all decked out in adorable decorations. They were ready for Christmas.

"Yes please," Molly paused and glanced at the twins putting up the stockings by hammering nails into the fireplace. "Fred Weasley! Stop trying to hit your brother with that hammer! I will not be mending anymore of Georges wounds."

"It's only for fun." Fred shrugged innocently, giving the side eye to George who began laughing at him.

"Stop acting like children." Ginny scolded, glaring at them both while hanging ornaments on the tree that Arthur had brought in earlier this morning.

Ginny and I were set with the task of decorating the Christmas tree with Mrs. Weasley. We were both happy to oblige if if meant we didn't need to go chop fire wood.

"It smells good." George said while sniffing around.

"Yes it should." Molly laughed a bit, brushing off her apron as she got off the stood she was on. "Eden and I made gingerbread cookies."

"Did someone say cookies?" Ron popped his head into the room at the hearing of food, "Where is it?"

Ginny rolled her eyes next to me and hung up a small, green, jester hat with the initials G.W. on it on the tree.

I smiled at the yellow jester hat ornament in my name with the initials F.W. inscribed onto it.

The twins were very close with each other.

"After dinner, Ronald how man times must I tell you?" Molly smiled at her son who was stood pathetically in the door way, waiting for something to happen.

"Boys." Arthur said coming into the room, pointing to the twins then to Ron. "Time to chop the firewood."

All three groaned instantaneously, none wanting to go out in the cold.

"Come along now." Arthur replied patiently with his hands in his pocket.

They all got up and sulked out of the room, past there father.

"Be back in time for supper you hear." Molly called, giving Arthur a kiss on the cheek before he turned at left the room.

"Is Ron like that at school?" Ginny asked me, looking through a box marked fragile. "Always eating?"

"Yes." I nodded simply, rolling up the sleeves of my sweater a bit. "He does seem to be snacking on something all the time."

Molly shook her head with a smile, "That's my little Ron for you."

"He'd get frustrated if he heard you call him little." Ginny said back, taking a sip of the hot cocoa she made.

Next to me, the fire crackled and was heating up the entire room. It hadn't snowed yet, not here, but it would soon I was sure of it.
