My favorite part about sleeping with you is when I wake up and it's the middle of the night, and I can roll over and see your face illuminated by the string of lights you have on your wall. The freckle that's on your bottom lip and the way your nose moves when you breathe. This is the most relaxed I think I've ever seen you look. You don't let yourself rest a lot, which is probably why you look so peaceful now. I wish you would be easier on yourself sometimes, but you're always pushing and telling yourself you need to be better. That's why weekends like this are so special. For us to have a couple days where our only responsibilities are to each other and you can just lay for hours with your head on my chest while I run my fingers through your hair. The sex is great too. Don't get me wrong, no one has ever made me feel as amazing as you do and every time it gets better and better. But I think my favorite thing to do, is to do nothing with you. To just be in your presence and hear your voice and see you smile. That's why I'm happy to sit and watch you play video games. To just be there with you while you do something you enjoy.

I wish I could see you more often. The distance makes it difficult, but I also think it makes it more special. I'm even more grateful for the times I'm with you. I'll close my eyes and focus on the way it feels as your breath tickles the back of my neck and how I can feel your heartbeat through your chest against my back. Or the way your lips feel against mine and how you pull me close and hold me pressed right up against you when we kiss. How your voice gets shaky and you gasp when I kiss the spot on your neck under your ear. So that when I'm at home by myself and missing you so much that it hurts in my chest, I can close my eyes again and remember the way it feels when we're together. And I just think about how lucky I am to love you.

This one is a bit short, but I wanted to still post something. It's 100% about a specific person so sorry if it's not applicable to y/n lmao. Classes are starting back up for me, so I'm still unsure of how long I'll be back and writing. I feel inspired though, so that's a good sign. Anyways, I hope you all are staying safe and I can have more content in my next post.
