"Hey ma, how was your date?"

"It was amazing. We went to Olive Garden. Sheesh that man could eat. We got so much food we were stuffed to the max. Then we started talking about our lives. He's a great listener."

"That's great. I finished all my work packets. Now I'm free to do whatever for the next 2 weeks."

"That's great Amor, keep up the good work. Oh and by the way you'll be meeting my man on Tuesday."

"Ma you guys just met a few days ago."

"I'm just really excited to take our relationship to the next level. He's the one I'm telling you."

"Sure." I went back to my room. The first thing I did was close my computer. I don't want that green boy watching me while I sleep. My phone buzzed.

Mamadukes: I got an email from the county. They want you guys to get anything you left in your locker just in case this break lasts longer.

Me: I left my notebook and my uniform in the locker.

Mamadukes: Alright, I'll drop you off tomorrow to go get them.

I should probably go to sleep now since I have to go back to school tomorrow. Ugh I hope I don't run into anyone I don't like while I'm there. Hopefully I'll run into Chaz or Mia or Sophia. Who knows. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted into my slumber.

It was Monday morning. I rolled out of bed and put some appropriate clothes on. I was wearing blue ripped jeans with pink crocs and a black Nike shirt. It was the middle of March so it was warm outside. Not too hot and not too cold. I pulled my hair into a messy high bun and put mascara and lipgloss on. I had that, just woke up but still flawless look. I walked out of my room and went downstairs.

"Hey ma, what are you cooking?"

"I'm making some omelettes for us. We can eat it in the car while we're on the way to your school."

We took the omelettes and got in the car. The drive was 20 minutes long. School was a little far from my house. I went to Springfield High School in Virginia. I've been going here for years. It's my junior year. I'm excited that I'm about to turn 18 in October. Guess what I was born on Halloween. I'll finally be legal ;) We arrived at the school and I got out of the car. I walked in the building to see all the students and the staff had masks on because of the coronavirus. I ran out of the building at high speed back to the car. "Maaaaa, I forgot my mask!"

Ma chuckled a bit. "You need to get used to wearing it out in public. We don't want to get sick. It can be fatal to people with underlying health issues or to middle aged people like myself."

"I know mom I just forgot. Crap, the mask got stuck to my lipgloss. Being cute today was a fail."

"Honey, you look cute everyday. Stop being overly dramatic"

I walked back to the building. I went through the crowds of people and headed up the stairs to where my locker was located. My locker was right next to Xavier's. Unfortunately, for me he arrived at the same time I did.

"Hey beautiful, how was your weekend? Were you thinking about me?"

"Gross, I was ecstatic to be away from you and stop calling me beautiful. You try too hard."

"Oh c'mon you're no fun. I missed you and your little attitude. Remember when you used to come over and have dinner with me and my pops. He asks about you and how you're doing."

"Shut up. I don't miss you. You're a two-timing dog and tell your pops that I'm great."

Xavier walked closer to me. "I'm sorry for what i did Amor, but it had to be done. You'll understand later."

"Remember the 6 feet rule. I don't want to be getting anything from you. You could have corona, STDs, mono, who knows."

All of a sudden I heard heels walking down the hallway toward us. I turned around to see Chloe right there. "Why are you so close to my man. Remember you lost him, it's too late."

"And you can keep him. I want nothing to do with trailer trash, trust me." I was starting to get annoyed. He came onto me, but she's yelling at me and not him.

Xavier was starting to get annoyed too. "Chloe, don't let her talk about me in that way." Chloe smiled and started walking closer to me and Xavier. She first walked over to Xavier and took off her mask. He took of his too. Then she kissed him passionately. It made me sick to my stomach. I turned to my locker and picked up my notebook and uniform. Chloe walked closer to me after she was done sucking off Xavier's face and pushed me. I dropped my notebook and uniform on the floor. I tried picking them up but she pushed me again. My phone fell out of my pocket and hit the ground. I got up and pushed her back. I wasn't going to let her get out of this, without a bruise or scratch of some sort. She fell back onto the floor. I didn't even push her hard but she's the one who decided to wear heels to school.

She got up and started running towards me. I could feel the hate inside me grow. I was sick and tired of being pushed around by her. She used to be my closest friend and now she's my worst enemy. My face grew red and I was ready for her to get closer so we could get this over with. All of a sudden a loud shriek erupted. Everyone in the hallway covered their ears. It was loud and high pitched. I looked back to see my phone on the floor shaking. I turned around slowly. First there was a finger, then a hand, then an arm, then a head coming out of it.
