Chapter 35

"I thought you were going to stand me up, you look beautiful by the way."

"I'm sorry, I woke up late. I wouldn't want to ever stand you up Helen."

"Ugh. I shouldn't have told you my name. Just call me B and nothing else."

"Ok ok I'll stop."

He took my hand and led me down the street. We walked for a few blocks until we came close to a coffee shop. We walked in and got a seat at the window.

"So what are we doing here?"

"I wanted to get to know you better, Amor."

"Awwwe."

"So tell me gorgeous, how is life?"

"It's pretty good."

"It's not great?"

"I mean not really. Things have been up and down lately."

"Like what?"

"I don't really talk to my closest friends anymore. My mom is busier than ever, since she got a boyfriend a few weeks ago. I was supposed to still be at my dads cabin just having fun but I got in trouble. Now I'm back in this mess but something good did come out of it though."

"And what is that?"

"Meeting you."

"I'm flattered gorgeous. How many siblings do you have?"

"None, luckily I'm the only child. I don't have to deal with any little brats."

"You sure are lucky."

"Yea, do you have siblings?"

"Yea unfortunately."

I chuckled. "I bet they get on your nerves."

"They really do, always forcing me to do things for them."

"Like run arrons?"

"Exactly. I'm so busy as it is and they just make me do stuff I don't want to do."

"Sounds tragic B."

"Sort of but tell me about school. You seem like the lazy type."

"No, no well I mean yea I would go to sleep very often in school but only because I finished my work so quickly. I have straight A's."

"Wow impressive, finished all your community service hours?"

"Yep, I have 50."

"I have 200."

"Dang. How did you get to do all of that?"

"It comes from teaching art classes to the eldery."

"Oh yea, that's so thoughtful and kind of you to do."

"Yea I really want to make a difference in this world and help people."

"Same, what do you want to do when you grow up?"

"I really want to become a lawyer and do art work on the side."

"No way! I want to become a lawyer too."

The waitress came over to us. "What would you like to order?"

B started. "I would like a latte."

"Um I'll just take a cappuccino."

The waitress took our orders and walked back to the kitchen.

B turned back towards me. "Ok where were we at?"
