I've just met this man an hour ago and I was starting to hate him already. "The rule was to answer one question honestly, you have to get to 1,000 points again to ask another question." He nodded and passed the game back to me. I pulled out another card. It was a picture of a pencil on the front, "the writer's cramp card." It was worth 300 points. I need to win this so I can ask him a question as well. I moved the tweezers over to the man's hand. I was sweating nervously. I picked the pencil up and removed it cautiously. I made it without it touching the sides.

"Alright, my first time I scored 700 and now I just scored 300 it is my turn to ask a question." I looked over to Smiley. "What are your real intentions with my mother and remember to be fully honest." I was confused on why they were together. My mom is beautiful but she's 49. Smiley looks way younger than her. She might be his sugar momma or something.

Smiley sighed. It's the first time since he's been here where he wasn't smiling. He looked up at me. "My true intentions are to be involved in you guy's life. I want to be around to help with whatever you both need. There are temptations in this world and me as a father figure will steer you in the right direction. And as for you mother, I'm here as her partner willing to take this relationship as far as it should go."

I know this man did not just say as a father figure. He will never be my father. I'm done playing this game. "May I be excused, i've already finished dinner and played 2 rounds of this game." Mom nodded her head and I started walking away from the dining table.

"Wait, hand me your phone. You are on punishment, remember." I turned around and placed my phone on the table. Smiley got up to say goodbye. He gave me a firm handshake. "It was lovely meeting you Ms.Kapoor, I've heard so much about you. I'm happy that I've finally gotten the honor to have a conversation with you and I was serious earlier, if you need anything I'm here to help." I shook my head, maybe he wasn't as bad as I thought, just a tad bit weird but who isn't. I walked up the stairs while ma and Smiley went to sit on the porch.

When I got in my bedroom I shut the door and collapsed onto the bed. I was exhausted and I couldn't stay up any longer. I wrapped myself in my large, comfy, warm covers. I drifted to sleep.

I felt a finger circling my neck. I opened my eyes slowly, I was too tired to deal with this. I sat up and looked around my bedroom. I couldn't see a thing. It was pitch black in my room. I reached for my phone on my desk. "Crap, I forgot ma took it." I walked over to the light switch and turned it on. On my bed I saw Ben was laying in the space beside where I was sleeping. "Ben, what the hell! I told you I needed my space. Why were you touching my neck?!"

"I know, I know but your birthmark is special. I just wanted to see if I could feel it but remember when you were at the mall and 2 people were searching for you. I told you I would bring my friend who they really wanted." Ben started staring in the corner behind where I was standing. I slowly turned my head to see a boy standing right behind me. I jumped out of fear and ran over to the spot beside Ben. Ben chuckled. "Amor don't be frightened he looks ugly and scary but I told him to put on a doctor's mask and sunglasses so you won't look at that horrid face."

The boy in the corner laughed. "Shut up Ben, don't make me have to kick your ass again. I don't know why you would make me cover my beautiful face. If she's seen you jump out of her electronics then she should be fine with seeing my flawless face." The boy looked around my age. Probably 17, a little older than Ben. He had black long hair. The hair rode a little past his shoulders. Geez his split ends were terrible he needs to get a trim. His skin was pale white. I've never seen someone's whose skin was so light in my entire life. He was wearing sunglasses and a doctor's mask, the one people wear for covid, so I couldn't see his facial features. He had a white hoodie on and black jeans. The hoodie had little red stains over them. I'm guessing it's blood. I noticed that he wasn't wearing the Eye of Providence that Jack and Ben wear. Mmm interesting. Why do some of them where it and others don't. I really need to find out what this necklace does. I looked at Ben to see that he was still wearing his. Ben explained a little about it when we were at my school but I have no idea what he really meant by what he said. His words were like puzzles.

Ben laughed at the boy's comment "Well Jeff your face may not look as beautiful to other people than you and Jane think." All of a sudden a green light started flashing across the room. I jumped up. What the fuck is that? I looked around to see that the boy Jeff and Ben were just staring at it like it was nothing. Although I could see that Ben was smiling a little. I felt wind in my room and a green glow appeared in the center of the room. It was blinding. "Amor, don't stare directly into the light, act like it's a solar eclipse just look away!" I turned my head.
