Chapter 48

"W- w- what?!"

"Do it and I won't tell the police that you're here."

"I'm not prostituting myself out for you. Why would I want you to take my virginity when you were the one who cheated on me with my ex-bestfriend?!"

"Well then you better say goodbye to your friends. Too bad you won't be saying goodbye to your mom or dad though. This will be the last place you visit. Aren't you going to have a life sentence for killing all those people? You'll never be out again. Have sex with me or say goodbye to everyone quickly." He pulled out his phone from his back pocket. I can't let him make that call. I ran towards him and pushed him as hard as I could. He tripped over one of the dusty chairs and hit his head on the corner of a desk. FUCK. That wasn't supposed to happen. I slowly walked over to where his body was laying. There was blood pouring out of it but he was still struggling to breathe. Oh my goodness oh my goodness. He's about to die. What do I do? If i tell the principle I can be expelled but he will be saved. Only if the school nurse knows what she is doing. I don't know if it's safe to go to the hospital during a hurricane warning. 2020 is all fucked up. If he lives he'll tell the cops about the murders. I'll face at least 80 years in prison or something. If i leave him here. I..............i'll be a killer. Oh no. Oh no. i don't want to be a killer. I began crying and breaking down. I don't want to be a killer but I also don't want to go to prison. What do i do?!?!?!?!

All of a sudden the glass window broke open. The shattered glass went everywhere. I looked up to see Ej. He looked scary. He was wearing his blue mask but tar was dripping all over him. The rain from the hurricane made it messy and look more terrifying. "Jack Jack please help me. I don't know what to do."

"Where's your phone?"

"I left it in the classroom with my friends."

"Ben can't come out if your phone is beside them."

"Please help me." I walked over to him and put my chest up against his body. I begged as I tugged on his wet blue hoodie. Tears were streaming down my eyes. I looked up into his blue mask hoping that he would help me even though he lowkey hates me. If he would just find a way to do it. I needed him to find a way to make everything better. I can't see his facial expression because of his mask, it gave such mystery. I just stared into those 2 black eye holes hoping he would have mercy on me.

"What do you want me to do? What even happened?"

"He knows about the murders. He thought i did it and he threatened to call the police unless I had sex with him. I pushed him and he hit his head. I'm going to be.............. a killer."

"He shouldn't have known. No one knows. The news hasn't even been released. I had to break in and read the report myself. Hmm. If he tried to force you to have sex with him because of it then he doesn't deserve to live anyways." Ej stood there and looked at me for a second thinking of what to do. He pulled out his scalpel from out his pocket. I looked down at Xavier, the blood from his head had expanded across the floor. He was barely breathing anymore nothing could save him at this point. Ej took his scalpel and stuck it straight into his head. I was in shock. I didn't expect for that to happen. I collapsed on the floor and began crying. Xavier is dead because of me. I shouldn't have pushed him. He's gone forever.

"Amor, we need to go. Now. From the way these floors are made it's only one layer. This is a poorly made attic. The blood splatter is such a large portion that it's probably dripping onto the ceiling below. Anyone can see it and come up here. We need to go now."

"I'm not climbing out of that window."

"Get on my back. Hurry up!"

"It's a hurricane coming!"

"We can beat it if we go right now!!" He screamed.

We could hear voices near the stairs of the attic they were about to come up. I climbed onto Ej's back and held tight. He got back up into the window and began climbing down the side of the building. I stared at his hands more closely. Most of the time Ej kept his hands in his hoodie pocket. But now that he's climbing down I can see them more upclose. He had long black claws that he used to stick onto the side of the wall. His hands were grey. What the.......I took one hand off of holding onto him and pulled down his hoodie. I couldn't see his face because of the mask he wore but i stared at his neck. It was grey too. His skin is entirely grey. Wow. I guess becoming a demon really did affect some of them more than others. We got down on the ground and Ej started running towards the woods.

"Look look! Someone is trying to leave the building!" someone said. I looked back and the security guards caught Ej running. This only made Ej go even faster. I didn't call him Sonic for no reason. Ej was amazing when it came to running. We got to the forest line and I could see Seedeater waiting for him. They ran through the woods for miles.

"Where are we going?"

"We need to get you to the mansion. It's too dangerous around here. Too many people are after you. We can't keep you safe like this."

"No no, please let me say goodbye to my mother first. Take me home please."

"No." he said with a firm tone. He wasn't going to back down. Maybe I can make him.

I put my face really close to his. Our faces were inches apart. He was trying to focus on running without hitting any trees but I know he felt uncomfortable with my staring. I took off my face mask and I got even closer to where my lips were dangerously close to his neck. I blew on it a little bit. I brushed my bottom lip on his neck and traced his veins. This made him really nervous. I could tell by the way he was running, he had lost his speed and he made a little grunt under his breath. Seedeater was way ahead of us by the lost of speed. His body shook a little. Wow Ej sure hasn't got any action in a while if he's feeling like this over a girl he can't stand.

"Ok ok, stop it. I'll take you there for 10 minutes. After that you won't be coming back here."

We made it to my house. Seedeater ran back to their mansion. Ej climbed on the side of my house and got through my window. I rang the doorbell awaiting for my mom to answer it.

"Oh my gosh. Honey come in." I walked in the house and took off my shoes. "You're soaking wet. Why are you out during a hurricane the school said they were going to keep you guys safe."

"Look ma someth-----."

"Well hello Amor." I turned my head to see Mr. Smiley standing there.

"Hey Smiley, but look ma there's something I really need to tell you."

"Ok honey, what is it?"

"Ummmm... um.. Uh." I didn't know what to say. How could i explain any of this. She can't know the truth. Not now. The cops can show up at any second. "I'm being sent to boarding school. I know I know, but my teacher told the recruitment team about me. They're after me I have to go now. I won't see you again for a long time, they'll be busting down the door any second. I just wanted to say I love you. Goodbye."

"WHAT?!?! Why would they send you to boarding school in the middle of a pandemic and a storm."

"I don't have time to give you the details. Tell dad I love him too." I gave her a big hug and planted a kiss on her cheek. I bolted up the stairs to get to Ej.
