Chapter 39

There were 2 ugly trifling looking beasts. I've seen a lot but this takes the fucking cake. There were 2 hairless, grey looking, humanoids crawling on the ground. Their eyes were distorted and you could see their rib cage through their skin. The flesh was ripping off, jagged like. Their eyes glowed as they stared at me. They came running towards me. One could occasionally stand on 2 feet but the other could only crawl.

"Stop!" Said Nina. "Come here right now." One turned back and walked to Nina. The other still crept my way. "Rake! Get your ass back here!" The other turned around and went back. She kneeled on the ground and started talking to them like they were babies. "The girl is off limits, she's special but you can eat the boys. They're delicious but you have to put up a fight."

The disgusting looking half zombie half human half beasts slowly crawled towards Ben and Jeff.

I couldn't let this happen. "Wait, Nina why are you doing this?"

"It's my job. I will be promoted if I can kill Jeff and severely injure the demons. Amor i know these are your friends but you need to choose who's side you're on. You can't have it both ways."

"I like all of you. Please don't do this. The monsters can go eat a deer or something."

"Amor, they're not monsters. This right here is Creature." She pointed to the one on her left. "And this one right here is Rake." She pointed to the one on her right. "They want to eat something new today. Maybe a demon." She smiled and glanced at Ej and Ben. "Go on guys, leave the one with the black hair alone, focus on the undead." The Rake focused its attention onto Ej now. My arms were still wrapped around him and I wasn't planning on putting them down.

Jeff ran over to Nina and tried to strike her. "Nina watch out!" Nina then dodged the attack.

"Amor, really? Who's side are you fucking on?" Jeff screamed at me.

Nina laughed. "Really? You were going to kill me while I was off guard. How cute. I don't want to kill you Jeff."

"Is that right? You want me 6 feet under, stop lying."

"You're absolutely right but Liu isn't here. He should say his last words to his own brother before I cut your face open. Sadly, I was taking these 2 on a walk so they can use the bathroom. I wasn't prepared to come across you all. We'll save the killing for next time. Don't worry."

"If you're going to kill me kill me now bitch."

"Bitch? Rake! Creature! Attack!"

The monsters pounced on Ej and Ben. Ben was using his magic and creating needles to slice through Creature. Ej was slashing Rake every chance he got with his scalpel. I had already moved away from Ej. It's better to stand a few feet away. Nina and Jeff were still arguing.

"So I'm a bitch huh?"

"Yep just a little jealous bitch."

"You're in love with this bitch Jeff. Did you forget that? Jane can't make you feel the way I can."

"Oh yes she can, my heart belongs to Jane."

"Jane is nothing compared to me."

"Jane fucks like a goddess."

Oh no he didn't. Nina's face turned into a frown. I walked closer to them. I don't know what's about to happen but this is getting weird.

"You weren't saying all that the last time we came across each other. You called me your little kohai and told me you loved me or do you not remember?" Nina walked closer to Jeff, she put her hand on his chest. "Jane might fuck you good but I can do you so much better. Shall we test that?"

Jeff was stunned, he was about to open his mouth to say something but I interrupted. Jane had made me promise her to keep Nina away from Jeff for his own good in exchange for her red dress that I wore on my date. "Sooooooo what's going on here?"

"Oh nothing, Amor. He's not worth it."

"What the fuck do you mean I'm not worth it?!"

"I wouldn't betray Liu like that. Especially not when i know Jane will try to take you away from me again."

"Either I'm going to slit ur throat or you're going to forgive me. There's no in between Nina."

"You'll just have to go to sleep my prince." Nina pulled out a knife out of her purple hoodie. Jeff beat her to it and pulled out his knife out of his white hoodie. He slashed her face. Blood flew in the air. Nina fell to the ground as I ran over to her. I pushed Jeff back to keep him safe. I put my finger under her chin and slowly lifted her head up so we could see the damage he did.

I looked at her face. She now had an identical creepy smile like Jeff's. The cut stretched from one side of her cheek to the other. This was Jeff's mark. Why would he put it on Nina? He could've killed her but he just put his symbol on her. I wonder why.

Nina began crying. "Now I'm as ugly as you." She pointed towards Jeff.

"Now you will never forget me even if you kill me. You wear my mark. You're my property."

I shot back a glance at Jeff. "First of all this girl is not your property. No one around here is anyone's slave Jeff."

"No, she's not my slave but she belongs to me. If any of the other proxies from her side of the family want her then it's too late. She bares my mark and my mark only."

I turned towards Jeff once more. "Jeff you're sick. Did you forget about Jane? Why can't she wear your stupid mark?!"

"Amor don't scream at me. Jane never takes off that mask anyway. It's not that bad, Nina will just have to submit to me."

"No the fuck I won't, you might have me looking like a clown like you but I will never be yours. You made that perfectly clear when you chose to be with Jane. Next time I see you, Liu will be with me and we're going to kill you and when you become a demon we'll tortured you until you wish you could die, so say you're goodbyes to her." Nina looked back at the beasts. "Rake! Creature! Let's go! We're going back home."

The monsters jumped off of Ben and Ej's bodies. I wasn't too worried about them. They can't die anyway. They're technically already dead. They both got up from the ground and walked towards me and Jeff.

Ej started complaining. "So instead of helping me and Ben with the fucking killer twins or even calling Seedeater and Smiledog to fight their enemies, you decided to put you're mark on Nina?!?!?!"

"Jack don't fucking scream at me! She was really testing me! I wanted to piss her off. I was too distracted to help."

"Too distracted? Yea you were too distracted flirting with her. Jane would beat your ass if she knew the way you were talking to Nina." Ben screamed.

"It's none of Jane's business. All she ever likes to do is argue with me about Nina."

I cut in. "And doesn't she have the right to? I mean look at you. You want to make Nina yours. Who do you want Jane or Nina? Because I'm thoroughly confused."

Ben started talking. "Jane is going to burn the whole mansion down once she hears this."

Jeff put his hands on his head. "Look, we're still in danger, Nina could be coming back with Liu any second. Let's get to Amor's house and talk about all this there."

We all began walking like we were before through the forest. Me, Ej, and Ben walked on one side while Jeff walked on the other. First Jeff took me on his killing spree and mutilated a couple then he stands here and tries to make Nina his. Does he even love Jane? This is terrible. Jane deserves so much better than to look stupid. How could he do that to her? Jane is a scary person she'll be wanting to kill him after she finds out. I feel like I should be the one to talk to her about it.
