I looked around. It was bright. Sun shined through the window. It was morning. I removed the covers off of me and got out of bed. I stretched a little. For some reason it felt like a good day. I walked into my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I walked back into my bedroom. Wow it's hot in here. I changed my clothes. I put on jean shorts. They were very short. I tried pulling them as far down as I could but it didn't go far down. I threw on a royal blue tube top. It's way too hot to be wearing layers out here. I didn't even feel like putting shoes or socks on. I put my cute little ankle bracelets on and slid my feet into my black slippers.

I walked back to the bathroom and did my hair. I wonder what me and Mia are going to do today. I separated the front section of my hair from the rest. I took the hair that was in front and put it into a bun. I left the back section out. It was those half up half down hairstyles. I looked pretty cute today. Mmmm maybe there's something I'm forgetting. I just can't put my finger on it. What was happening today that I can't remember?

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!" I heard Mia scream. I jumped up and ran straight out of the bathroom into the living room.

"Amiga! There is a boy in here! Intruder! I will kill you señor!!"

Mia charged right at Ej. "Noooo Mia. He's my friend. His name is Ej."

"Wait this is Ej?"

"Yea, I told him to deliver me some pizza last night and he just decided to stay here."

"How did you call him? There's no phones."

"I went into my dad's room and used his fax machine. Times are desperate when you want some pizza." I could see Ej stare at my choice of clothing. He examined me up and down. Maybe I should've just thrown on a bubble coat and dealt with the heat. My face turned red. He was staring so hard.

"Hola, Ej." Ej stared down at Mia, he just nodded his head and sat on the couch. Ugh he was so rude and antisocial. Something is wrong with that boy. I walked over and sat down on the other side of the couch. Mia walked over but told me to scoot over. Great now I have to get closer to him. Mia sat down. I sat in between both of them. This was weird. It's so quiet in here.

"What type of movie are we going to watch?"

Ej spoke up. "I really like that movie Hannibal Lecter."

"Heck no, I watched that and I don't want to see a cannibal be portrayed as the good guy. It makes no sense to me."

Mia budded in. "Well do we all agree to watch a scary movie?"

"Yea" said me and Ej at the same time.

"Alright amigos we can just look at the selection that's on Netflix." Mia started scrolling through the horror movie section.

"Ooh that one" i said. She clicked it and we began to watch Sinister.

We were about 40 minutes into the movie. It was actually really good. It started showing kids killing their family. It was crazy. Yikes reminds me of Jeff. One child even dr——-"Ahhhhhh!"

The creepy sinister guy flashed right in front of the camera. I screamed and jumped up. I was shaking. I started trying to calm down. That was weird. I looked over and Mia was laughing at me. "It's not funny." Mia then pointed in my direction. I looked where she was pointing to. I turned my head around to see I was sitting on the side of Ej's lap. "Mm Mm" Ej cleared his throat. He was trying to signal me to get off. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry." I got up quickly and sat close to Mia. Wow that was mad embarrassing.

I couldn't even look at him for the rest of the movie. I can't believe I did that. Ugh terrible.

After the movie was over me and Mia ate the fish that we cooked at the campfire last night. Ej just watched us. We were sitting at the kitchen island table. It was weird because we were all facing each other. I heard Ej's stomach rumble. "Do you want to eat some?"

"No I'm fine."

"Are you sure? Because your stomach says otherwise."

Ej huffed. "You don't have anything here that I like to eat."

"Well then you can go to the store and get whatever you like."

"No."

"Ok whatever. Then starve." Ej rolled his eyes. His stomach growled again. This is ridiculous. Why won't the boy just eat. He was so annoying. He stared at me while I ate but wouldn't go and get something to eat himself. I started to tease him. I took the fork and put it through a piece of the fish. I held it up in the air and slowly put it in my mouth. I pulled the fork out slowly and moaned. "Mmmm that tastes so good." I then chewed the food slowly. I heard Ej's stomach grumble again.

"Let's go."

"What?"

"I'm hungry and you're going to come with me." Ej grabbed my hand and pulled me from the table.

"Mia I'll be back soon!"

Ej pulled me through the woods. We had to walk around thorn bushes and spider webs. Omg I cannot stand spider webs. This is not ok. "Where are we going?"

"Shut up, you wanted to tease me so now I'm getting food but I still have to babysit you." Man I hate this guy. He forced me to come out here and he won't even tell me where we're going.

I was walking around a bush when it cut me across my leg. It was a thorn bush. Blood started going down my leg. Ej didn't even notice. He stopped walking out of nowhere. "What is that smell?"

"My blood." He turned around and saw my leg.

"You sensitive humans. You get hurt so easily."

"Well excuse me you could've told me to change my clothes before we came out here."

"Maybe you shouldn't have worn those clothes in the first place."

"I forgot you were here and it's hot so why not. You act like you're so scared of seeing skin."

He just stared at me. He turned around and whistle really loud. I had to cover my ears because of how loud it was. I could hear the echo of the whistle. It sounded like it traveled in every direction miles away. "Why did you do that?"
