"Mmmmmm, let me think about that. I guess you wouldn't be able to guess..... I don't know." I started chuckling. "There's nothing surprising about me really, what you see is what you get."

"There's nothing crazy about you? Like nothing surprising at all?"

"Nope not really, I have a normal life and I'm pretty normal myself. Well not normal or average but different from anyone you'll ever meet but there's nothing surprising about me. I love food and animals, I'm funny as hell, chill, laid back, love horror and dark stuff, down to earth, easy to talk to, genuinely happy, a nice person, helpful, loyal, and wifey material just to let you know. Wow I'm really rambling on I'm sorry."

B began laughing. "No no, I love to hear you talk. You forgot one though."

"What?"

"Absolutely beautiful."

"Awwwwwe."

"What was your childhood like?"

"It was ok. I got bullied a little. It's hard being a minority in America. People are always calling you names, putting you down. Trying to break you but I overcame. I'm proud to be who I am. It was lonely with my mom and dad always working. My grandparents died a long time ago. I never even got to meet one of my grandfathers, he disappeared when my grandmother was pregnant. I have one uncle but he's as busy as my dad and I haven't seen him in years. My mother has no siblings. So the family tree really stops at me. I hated being alone for so long but it's not that bad. I met amazing friends when I got to high school and they've really been there for me. I stopped talking to them probably a week ago. It's better if I keep my distance away from them. I did meet some new friends. They're starting to grow on me. They're funny and cool but they don't have good morals. I really like them but they're so drama filled. I've been at my happiest since I met them. I never had friends that make you seem like you're..... a.... a...."

"Apart of a family."

"Exactly, we haven't known each other for long but they're starting to feel like the family I never had. Although, I might lose them. I'm only part of the friend group because of what I can bring to the table. If I lose it then they'll leave me."

"What do you mean bring to the table? Why would they leave you because of it?"

Crap. What do I say. "For our science fair project. I'm really good at making experiments. If we don't win first place then they'll want to leave." I couldn't think of anything good but oh well. How was i suppose to say that i could have powers if only i could find my soulmate before i turn 18 but if i don't then i will be a powerless human still and my friends will leave and treat me like how they treat every other human.

"Oh ok, I didn't know schools were still working on those science fair projects since they're all on break for corona."

"Yea, it's crazy right. "

"What is yours on?"

"Ummmm we're working on...... a volcano."

"I think that's the most common used science fair project out there besides which color light plants grow best in. If you want to win you should definitely pick another idea or you will lose your friends for sure."

"You're so right. Thanks but tell me about your childhood now."

"Um, well mines is pretty bad."

"That's fine not everyone has a perfect life."

"Ok so my parents wanted to give birth to a girl. They didn't obviously but they still gave me a girl name, Helen. They tried treating me like one and dressing me up as one too. I got sick of it. They didn't really care for me. My classmates bullied me for my name. That's why I had you call me B instead. I disappeared from my parents when I was in middle school. Everyone was looking for me, my parents, the police, investigators, classmates, and their parents too. They all hated me but I started a new life. My adoptive parents took me in and helped me out. Now I give back to those who are unfortunate the best way I can."

"Oh my goodness B, I had no idea. I'm so sorry, you don't deserve that. I'm happy you got away from them and grew from that experience and became a better person. I really admire that."

"Thanks gorgeous, I really appreciate you saying that."

The waitress came back with our food. I was glad because the performance on the stage was about to begin. This reminded me of Medieval Times where you watch the knights fight while you eat food but this was a much classier version than that. I was starving. How did I really go the whole day without eating? We sat there and enjoyed the show. I caught B watching me instead of the show a few times. I always smiled. He was a really good person. I feel so bad for him, that something as terrible as his classmates and parents treating him horribly could have ever happened. He deserved to get treated so much better.

After the performance was over he took my hand and led me down the street. I was a little nervous, because it was dark out there. Shit I told Ben to go to sleep. I'm sure if something was going to happen, B would help me but he's just a human. The creepypastas are skilled even the human ones. When they were fighting each other down at the cabin you could tell they were professionals. I just hope no one g----

"Amor, I think someone is following us."

"Oh no. What should we do?"

"I'll walk you back home."

"Really? Thank you."

"No problem, anything for you gorgeous."

We held hands as we quickly walked down the street. It was a long way back to my house. B took me through alleys, shortcuts, and paths to get the stalker off of our backs. I was so happy he knew his way around this place. I don't know what I would do without him.

-------

About 40 minutes later we made it onto my porch. I sure did a lot of walking today. I'm exhausted, for now on if someone doesn't drive me somewhere then I'm not going.

"Hope you had a good time."

"I really did B, I love spending time with you. I feel like this can really go somewhere."

"I feel the same." He leaned in and kissed me on my forehead. It was a soft kiss. I smiled, he's so sweet. He doesn't seem like the type to ever do me wrong like Xavier. I pulled out my keys and unlocked the front door. I looked back and waved goodbye to B and walked in. I went up the stairs to see my mom's door open. OH NO. OH NO. I could see my mom snuggled up in bed with Smiley. I need to get my mind off of that. I walked down the hallway into my room in a hurry to get away from that terrible sight, closed the door, and turned on the light.
